This year, the State Bank of India (SBI) announced 600 vacancies for the Probationary Officer (PO) position. The selection process comprises three phases: preliminary examination, main examination, and interview/group exercise. The Preliminary exams were conducted on March 8, 16, and 24, 2025, with results declared on April 5, 2025.

Also note:

  • Officials expect to release the SBI PO Mains admit cards around 7 to 10 days before the exam date.
  • The SBI PO Mains exam is tentatively scheduled for May 5, 2025.
  • SBI has also released the PO prelims cut-offs.

The SBI PO Mains exam consists of two parts: (i) Objective Test, (ii) Descriptive Test.

As you can see, SBI tests its candidates’ abilities on various aspects that require one to have a good level of logical & reasoning skills, analytical skills, language skills, and an up-to-date awareness of current events and happenings. 

You roughly have 15 days in your hands now, and this time period will either seal or spoil the deal for you.
