IBPS RRB Scale 2 & 3: Exam Pattern
Before you start your IBPS RRB Scale 2 & Scale 3 preparation, it is imperative that you have a clear picture of the IBPS RRB Scale 2 & 3 exam pattern. The IBPS RRB Scale 2 & 3 exam will be a single phase online exam, which will then be followed by an Interview.
Moreover, the IBPS RRB Scale 2 recruitment process consists of two categories- General Banking Officer (GBO) and Specialist Officer, with a slight difference in the exam pattern. Furthermore, the IBPS RRB Scale 3 exam pattern is the same as that of IBPS RRB Scale 2 General Banking Officer.

Please Note-
- For the IBPS RRB Scale 2 (GBO) exam, you will be given a composite time of 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam.
- On the other hand, for IBPS RRB Scale 3, you will have 2 hours to complete the exam.
- Moreover, candidates can opt either English or Hindi Language.

IBPS RRB Scale 2 & 3: Syllabus

Quantitative Aptitude
In Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation forms a large chunk of the questions asked in the IBPS RRB exam. You can expect three sets of DI in the exam. Therefore, you must divide your time accordingly so that you can focus more on the important topics in Quantitative Aptitude.
Financial Awareness
In the IBPS RRB Scale 2 & 3 2021 exam, around 18 to 20 questions were asked from Static GK and 20 to 22 questions were asked from Current affairs. This means that both Static GK and Current Affairs had an equal weightage. Therefore, while preparing Financial Awareness, you must give equal attention to Static GK as well as Current Affairs.
Computer Knowledge
The Computer Knowledge section will carry 20 marks. Moreover, of all the subjects assessed in the IBPS RRB Scale 2 & 3 exam, Computer Knowledge is the most scoring. If you prepare this subject properly, it will help you in increasing your overall merit.
English/Hindi Language

Important Points to Note

- Moreover, you should spend at least 50% of your available time on Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning as these two subjects require a lot of practice.
