EPFO Assistant Prelims
EPFO is one of the largest organizations in India and it released its recruitment notification this year after a long period of time. It came as a golden opportunity for all those who were preparing for government jobs. EPFO is one such government organization which offers great work opportunities along with an attractive remuneration. EPFO released the recruitment notification for the post of EPFO Assistant 2019. For all those who applied for the same, the exam will be conducted in two phases: Prelims & Mains. EPFO Assistant Prelims was scheduled to be conducted on 31st July. The exam was to be conducted in four shifts and the first shift has already been wrapped up. EPFO Assistant 2019 is one of the most awaited and sought-after examinations of the year and thus taking a look at the detailed first shift analysis would be worth a reading. EPFO Assistant Exam Analysis & Review (31 July 2019) – Shift 1 – (9am-10am):
There were 3 Sections in the EPFO Assistant Prelims 2019 with a total of 100 Q and total time for the exam was 60 minutes. This time duration was not composite but divided into sectional timings of 20 min each. The questions were asked from various sections in the sequence of English Language, Reasoning Ability & Quantitative Aptitude.
The level of today’s exam was Easy- Moderate. Good attempts in each section are given below:

English Language always has been posing problems for most of the candidates. The candidates who have been familiar with the exam pattern of the competitive exams may find it a bit better but makes it difficult for those who have always been facing problems with the English subject. He was presented in court as well but he kept the same attitude in court as well. When he was released he lived solitude and did jobs in different places with changed names. He published books as well with different pseudonyms to hide his identity.

Story Based Cloze Test
One day a professor entered his classroom, and asked his students to prepare for a surprise test. They all waited anxiously at their desk for the exam to begin. The professor handed out the exams with the text facing down, as usual. Once he had handed them all out, he asked the class to turn over the papers. To everyone’s surprise, there were no questions- just a black dot in the center of the sheet of paper. The professor seeing the expression on everyone’s faces, told them the following: “I want you to write about what you see there” the students, confused, got started on the inexplicable task. At the end of the class, the professor took all the papers, and started reading each one of them out loud, in front of all the students. All of them with no exception, defined the black dot, trying to explain its position in the center of the sheet. After all had been read, the classroom silent, the professor started to explain: “I’m not going to grade you on this, i just wanted to give you something to think about. No one wrote about the whitepart of the paper. Everyone focused on the black dot – and the same happens in our lives. We have a white piece of paper to observe and enjoy, but we always focus on the dark spots. Our life is a gift given to us with love and care, and we always have reasons to celebrate – nature renewing itself everyday, our friends around us, the job that provides our livelihood, the miracles we see every day… However, we insist on focusing on the dark spot – the health issues, the lack of money, the complicated relationship with a family member, the disappointment with a friend. The dark spots are very small when compared to everything we have in our lives, but they the ones that pollute our mind.
