The FCI AG III (Assistant Grade III) exam is being conducted by FCI on January 1st, 7th, 14th, 21st and 29th, 2023 for a total of 5043 vacancies. In this article, we’ll see an analysis of FCI Assistant Grade 3 exam held on 7th January in 2 different shifts. The exam is conducted for 100 marks. The duration of the exam is 1 hour with sectional timings in the each section of- English, Reasoning, Quant and General Studies. All four sections carry equal weightage of 25 marks for 25 questions. There will be 1/4th negative marking for each wrong answer.
FCI Assistant Grade 3 Exam Analysis, 2023
The following analysis of the FCI Assistant Grade 3, 2023 exam is of the first 2 shifts held on 7th of January. The questions remain more or less similar in nature throughout the exam process. You can deduce the types of questions which would be asked in the next shifts.

The Reasoning section of Shift 1 was comparatively easier than the Shift 2. There were no questions of syllogism in the second shift. The Puzzles remained the dominant part of this section. There were puzzles based on parallel row (10 people) and month based puzzle etc.
Overall, the difficulty level of both the shifts was easy to moderate. Anyone preparing for the banking exams wouldn’t find it very difficult.

The section of Quant was on the easier side. More number of questions were asked from the DI. However, there were no questions on Caselet DI in the first shift.
The Arithmetic questions contained topics like- Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Percentage, Ages etc. All the questions were doable to any serious aspirant.
English

This section was the easiest section among all the sections. The questions were of the regular difficulty and type asked in many banking exams. There should not be any difficulty in answering these questions.
General Awareness
Both the shift 1 and shift 2 had easy to moderate level of questions. The questions varied from static to current affairs sections.

2. Bronze is made up of?
3. Who is Union Science & Technology Minister?
Some of the questions asked in shift 2:
1. The headquarter of WTO is located in?
2. Name the Last Mughal King
3. Who is Chief Economic Advisor of India?

Good Attempts
The types of questions asked in both the shifts were of the similar nature. The good attempt for Shift 1 could be somewhere around 75-80 questions. And for the shift 2, it could be around 65-70 questions.
