SUCCESS IS 20% SKILLS AND 80% STRATEGY and ixamBee knows that you might know how to read but what you need to learn is what’s your plan to read. So ixamBee brings you the story of Mr Teja.

Mr Venkat Surya Teja is a BTech in Electronics and Communication. He has also done MBA in Finance. He is selected as a PO in BOI and he plans further to go for RBI Grade B preparation as an ixamBee student.

Let us read Mr Teja preparation strategies for IBPS PO 2019-2020 exam:

Hi all. This is Mr Venkat Surya Teja. I have cleared the IBPS PO exam 2019-2020. I would like to thank the entire team of ixamBee for their central role in my success and supporting and pushing me continuously to do better during my IBPS PO exam preparation. I chose ixamBee over other websites despite being enrolled in offline coaching as I always felt something is missing which I need to cover up. Also the comfort of getting everything at one place without travelling make it attractive for aspirants like me. So I was in search of an online platform that can guide my way to success and ixamBee prove to be the right online educational platform for my IBPS PO preparation.Their study material is very concise, easy to revise, and up-to-date along with the mock tests which are informative and challenging. I am grateful for their personal guidance during my interview stage. Also, their guidance for the descriptive part helps me in improving my writing skills.

While preparing for IBPS PO Prelims, I always focussed on my speed more than the concepts as Prelims is all about maximum attempt with accurate accuracy. I gave a lot of ixamBee mocks to increase my speed. For Reasoning, I used to solve individual questions like coding-decoding, blood relations, syllogism etc. in the first 10 minutes and then I switch to puzzle and try to solve at least 2 puzzles in 10 minutes to help me clear the merit as puzzle is not my strong area. Also, I used to focus on individual questions as Reasoning was the area where I feel the need to improve every time. For Quants, I use to focus at arithmetic topics like percentage, time and work, profit and loss etc. at which I have a strong hold and then use to solve questions on quadratic, inequality and other types. After solving them I move to difficult questions. Since Quants was my strong area so I always try to solve 25 out of 35 questions and more if time permits. For English I use to attempt a cloze test first, then grammar based questions like sentence correction, para jumble. Last 8 to 7 minutes I used to go for Comprehension. Speed was my main focus in IBPS PO Prelims which helped me to score 84 out of 100 marks.

For IBPS PO Mains, my strategy was not different. I adopted the same methodology. But I feel IBPS PO Mains is all about selecting the right questions and how clear your concepts are. If you want to clear your conceptual knowledge in Quants I would suggest you to solve Arun Sharma. For General Awareness I follow ixamBee monthly pdf capsule besides following one more resource. Also, keep yourself updated with 6 / 7 months current news and don’t take the risk of skipping any current news for the month in which the exam is going to be held. For English, I use to read a lot to improve my reading habit. I used to read the Hindu newspaper and also try to solve sectional questions from ixamBee. Practice as much as you can because that’s the most important component to achieve success.

For IBPS PO Interview, I focussed mainly on my profile, educational qualification and current affairs, some basic banking terminology. The Interview is mainly a test of your alertness and awareness. So keep yourself ready for both. Lastly, ixamBee mock interview helped me a lot to face the actual interview with confidence and grace.

Below are a few important points you should remember while preparing for IBPS PO:
