English Language Section –
Reasoning and Quant are the preferred sections of many students and English Language section is the one which is most avoided by many students. One needs to analyze one’s strengths while preparing for the English Language section. Some people are good at vocabulary and reading while others may be good at Grammar. If you are of the former type, you should attempt the Reading Comprehension and Cloze Test first along with Error Detection, Phrase Replacement, Double Fillers, etc. But if you are good at Grammar, attempt those questions first. The advantage of attempting more in English section is you can score more in lesser time in comparison to Quant and Reasoning. However, you have to improve on your accuracy in English.

Initially start with the basic questions on quadratic equations, simplifications and number series. Next move on to Data Interpretation and CI/SI, Time and Work, etc. The idea with quantitative aptitude section should be to attempt and finish the questions which you are confident about so as not to waste too much time on questions which are hard and out of your comfort zone. Considering the higher difficulty level of quant questions in RBI Grade B exam, most of the candidates prefer to attempt questions just enough to clear the sectional cut-off in Quant and score higher in General Awareness, Reasoning and English.
