| Education | A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% and above in any discipline. Knowledge of computer applications, particularly MS Word. Proficiency in the official language of the concerned State or Union Territory. Candidates belonging to Ex-servicemen category should either be graduates from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service. |

The Basic Pay for an RBI Assistant has been revised to ₹20,700 per month. The Gross Salary of an RBI Assistant is, thus, approximately ₹45,050 per month now.
