This move has come in the time of pandemic COVID-19 and Indian economy and rupee slid to its all time low level against dollar. The panic in the stock market amid COVID-19 feared people, and panic selling started to safe their portfolio. The rupee exchange rate which stood all time high 1 USD to INR =76.41 which is surely not a good sign to economy and might go further down till this pandemic doesn’t disappear.
