SBI PO Notification 2022
The SBI PO 2022 notification was released on September 21, 2022. The SBI PO application window is now open and will remain open till October 12, 2022. SBI PO Notification Changes Highlights
- There is no change in the SBI PO Prelims exam pattern.
- Sectional timing has been introduced in the SBI PO Mains exam pattern. The total marks allotted to each section have also been changed.
- More weightage has been allotted to General/Economy/Banking Awareness in the Mains exam. It will now be assessed for 60 marks (earlier 40).
- Similarly, more weightage has been allotted to the Reasoning & Computer Aptitude and Data Analysis & Interpretation sections as well in the Mains exam. They will now be assessed for 60 marks (earlier 50).
- However, the subjects to be assessed in the SBI PO Mains exam are the same as earlier.
- A Psychometric Test has been introduced.
SBI PO Exam Pattern 2022
In order to avoid any confusion, the latest SBI PO exam pattern has been outlined for you below. Please note, the SBI PO selection procedure 2022 will be carried out over 3 phases. They are:
- Phase 1 – Prelims Exam.
- Phase 2 – Mains Exam.
- Phase 3 – Psychometric Test, Group Exercise & Interview.

SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern
The SBI PO Prelims 2022 will be an online test consisting of three sections. A total of 100 questions will be asked with each question carrying 1 mark. Therefore, the SBI PO Prelims exam will be for 100 marks. Please study the details below.

Those who clear the Prelims exam will be able to take the SBI PO Mains 2022 exam. The SBI PO Mains exam will consist of an Objective and a Descriptive. As you will see in the table below, sectional timing has been introduced in the SBI PO Mains exam this year onwards.

SBI PO Phase 3 Exam Pattern
The SBI PO Phase 3 exam will comprise 3 parts, they are:
- Psychometric Test
- Group Exercise
- Interview
The Group Exercise will be assessed for 20 marks and the Interview for 30 marks.
