SSC CHSL 2024 Selection Procedure/ Exam Pattern
Once aspirants understand the basics of the recruitment, they need to know about the SSC CHSL Exam Pattern. The SSC CHSL exam for 2024 will be held in three phases, having different pattern in each of these. The exams in all the three phases or tiers will be online. The candidates will have to qualify in the Tier 1of the exam to reach the next stage or Tier 2. To be shortlisted for the third stage or Tier 3, the marks obtained in Tier 1+ Tier 2 Examinations will be considered. Tier 3 of the SSC CHSL Exam will be of qualifying nature. On the basis of the candidates’ performance in in Tier 1 , 2 & 3, the final selection will be made, and the candidates will be allocated the jobs in various departments/ministries.

SSC CHSL 2024 Tier I Exam Pattern (Objective Type)
The Tier I of SSC CHSL Examination is held in online mode and consists of objective type questions or MCQs where you will have to choose an answer from the options given.

SSC CHSL 2024 Tier -II Exam Pattern
The Tier II of SSC CHSL Examination will be in descriptive mode and will be conducted offline. The candidates will be required to write down an Essay / Letter / Application / Precis.

SSC CHSL Tier-III Exam Pattern

- Data Entry Speed – 8,000 key depressions per hour;
- Duration – 15 minutes.
Skill Test for DEO in Comptroller & Auditor General Office:
- Data Entry Speed – 15,000 key depressions per hour;
- Duration – 15 minutes.
Typing Test for LDC / JSA and Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant
- The candidates will be able to choose the medium of typing test in the online application form.
- English Medium Typing Speed : 10,500 key depressions per hour; 35 words per minute.
- Hindi Medium Typing Speed : 9000 key depressions ; 30 words per minute.
SSC CHSL 2024 Application Fees
The application process for SSC CHSL will be completed only after you make the payment of fees. The payment of application fees can be done in both online and offline mode (Through Challan).
