RBI Grade B Preparation Tips from an Expert

Now, that Shivam has managed to clear the RBI Grade B exam with a full-time job, that too in his first attempt, he certainly qualifies as an expert. What are the key takeaways from Shivam’s RBI Grade B exam preparation journey?

  • Understanding the RBI Grade B Syllabus and Job Requirements: The RBI Grade B syllabus is quite manageable compared to other competitive exams. Begin by understanding the exam pattern and job requirements thoroughly. This will help you streamline your preparation. Once you have a clear idea of what the job entails, you can align your study plan accordingly, focusing on key areas and ensuring that you cover the important topics in a structured manner.
  • Importance of RBI Grade B Mock Tests: Regularly taking the RBI Grade B mock tests is crucial for effective RBI Grade B preparation. Mock tests allow you to gauge your progress, identify weaknesses, and get familiar with the exam’s format. By assessing your performance in these tests, you can adjust your study plan to focus on areas that need improvement. Mock tests also help with time management, a critical skill to perform well during the actual exam.
  • Creating a Customized Study Plan: If you find the syllabus vast or challenging, break it down into smaller, more manageable parts. Customizing your study plan according to your strengths and weaknesses is essential. A structured plan allows you to cover every section comprehensively. Dedicate 5-8 months to General Awareness and stay updated with current affairs, especially as the exam date approaches. Use BeePedia to regularly test your General Awareness skills. This methodical approach ensures that no section is left out.
  • Preparing for Descriptive Papers: For the Descriptive papers, consistent writing practice is essential. Do not assume you’ll perform well without preparation. Regularly write practice answers and get feedback from peers or professionals. This will help you refine your writing style, ensuring that your answers are clear, concise, and well-structured. Practice also improves your ability to respond to different types of questions confidently and effectively.
  • Balancing Work and Preparation: As a working professional, aim to put in 2-3 hours a day, totaling about 18 hours a week for RBI Grade B preparation. Consistency is key. Balancing work and studies requires discipline, but with a steady schedule, you can manage both effectively. Prioritize your time by focusing on your weakest areas, and gradually build up your knowledge to stay on track and make progress without overwhelming yourself.
  • Cracking the Interview and Maintaining Consistency: The RBI Grade B interview is a crucial and decisive phase. It’s essential to be well-prepared, both in terms of self-awareness and current affairs. Regularly take mock interviews and work on feedback to improve your presentation and communication skills. Structure your responses well, as how you say something is just as important as what you say. Remember, consistency throughout your preparation is key to succeeding in this exam.

Success in competitive exams like SEBI Grade A Legal Officer is never an accident; it’s the consequence of hard work, strategy, and guidance from the right mentor. Raghav’s success story depicts how perseverance combined with the right expertise leads to phenomenal feats. We would be considering in this blog Raghav’s unique journey to success by exploring the challenges he had to face, the strategies that were put in place, and how ixamBee empowered him in his preparation.

In conversation with Neha Dubey, our esteemed legal expert at ixamBee, Raghav shares the insights that guided him through his preparation and helped him achieve what he desired. Watch as we go step by step to depict how Raghav cracked one of the most competitive exams of the country.

How it Started

Raghav’s journey towards clearing the SEBI Grade A Legal Officer exam had not begun with the SEBI Grade A exam notification. It goes back to his law student days, since he started his final year of his bachelor’s program, Raghav had clarity about what he wanted: a legal career awaited him, and the right path had to be formed for it.

He also had experience with legal internships by going to district courts for a while and got hands-on exposure to the processes, gaining a good understanding of legal fundamentals. This exposure not only enriched his knowledge but also strengthened his desire to take up competitive exams like SEBI Grade A Legal.

Raghav did not wait for the SEBI notification to start preparing, nor was he religiously rote learning for the exam once the notification was out; rather, he prepared diligently with a strategy to work upon his basics to lay a strong foundation. He knew this would serve him when he plunged deep into advanced-level topics that are a must for preparation in the SEBI Grade A Legal exam. That is why from his bachelor’s onwards, he made sure to keep his concepts strong. This proactive approach turned out to be his lead, as by the time he officially started preparing for the SEBI Grade A Legal exam, he had already been well-prepared for certain topics. Raghav’s journey was not one of last-minute cramming but a well-planned and steadily pursued path to success. Let us explore it in depth.

Preparing for SEBI Grade A Legal Phase 1

Raghav had been very practical about his strengths and weaknesses from the beginning. This proved to be extremely beneficial for him when covering the syllabus for the SEBI Grade A Phase 1 exam. He knew that while he was not exceptionally fond of Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning, he just needed the aggregate qualifying marks in the Phase 1 exam which was 40%. He instead focused on other areas and topics from the syllabus to make sure he was able to clear the first stage of the SEBI Grade A Legal selection process which he did. He focused on his strengths that were the English Language and General Awareness.

He knew that English was an essential part of all stages of the exam, and he had to practice English in more depth, sooner rather than later which laid the foundation for his success in the second phase of the SEBI Grade A exam.

Preparing for SEBI Grade A Legal Phase 2

With the change in the selection stage, Raghav’s preparation strategy had to change too. This means that Raghav had to adopt a more targeted and strategic approach for the second stage of the SEBI Grade A Legal examination. His preparation for the SEBI Grade A Legal Phase 2 exam was multi-dimensional in nature, with strong emphasis on both the English and the Legal of the exam.

Raghav knew how important a role the English language plays in competitive examinations, and most importantly, in descriptive answers. He practiced his writing skills, knowing full well that clear, concise, and well-structured answers would give him an edge over his peers. In order to achieve this, he regularly practiced typing out the answers to questions and tried to simulate examination conditions so as to increase his speed and accuracy. Further, reading the newspaper on a daily basis became a routine for Raghav that not only kept his language skills but also his general awareness up to date with what is going on around him.

For the legal portion of the SEBI Grade A Phase 2 exam, Raghav has largely depended upon reading bare acts and ixamBee’s study notes that were a part of the ixamBee SEBI Grade A Legal Online Course he had joined. The notes of the course provided a clear, structured overview of the legal concepts. This was especially important with the new additions and changes in this year’s SEBI exam. His preparation did not stop at merely learning the theory behind it-Raghav also prepared for how he would apply this knowledge in the real world. He prepared case laws and the application of legal principles since he knew this would give an added edge to his descriptive answers.

Knowing full well that time was of the essence, Raghav religiously started practicing with ixamBee’s SEBI Grade A Legal Phase 2 mock tests. These turned out very helpful for improving his speed and getting him used to the format of the exam. These mock tests were of immense importance in refining his strategy and boosting his confidence, too, as he did not have the advantage of starting from scratch. Concrete study, practical application of theory, and consistent practice through mock tests played an important role in his success in SEBI Grade A Legal Phase 2.

Clearing the Final SEBI Grade A Legal Exam Stage: The Interview

Getting to the interview stage of the SEBI Grade A Legal exam represents one’s hard work and the fact that the candidate knows the theoretical concepts required for this examination. However, clearing this final stage was beyond the book knowledge. Raghav realized that it is all about confidence, personality, and presence of mind.

According to him, if he has reached the interview, the theoretical concepts have already been acquired. This would help him in answering questions put forth by the interview panel. At this level, what really differentiates a candidate is the confidence and the way he or she presents himself before the interviewer. Honesty and truthfulness are critical during the SEBI Grade A Legal Interview according to Raghav. He insists that the attitude you will show during the interview will greatly determine its outcome. It is not only what you say but how you say it. Effective communication and conversing confidently and professionally contribute a lot to success in the interview.

Raghav also mentions conversational English, which becomes necessary as it helps you express your views in a coherent and correct manner while the interview is going on. Apart from just looking at your knowledge, the interviewers will look at how well you communicate and how you will keep your calm in the situation. Raghav’s strategy for facing the interview was to be genuine, keep the level of confidence high, and let the interviewer have a glimpse of his personality.

Besides this, the focus on soft skills, along with thorough preparation, finally helped Raghav clear the final stage of the SEBI Grade A Legal exam and come closer to his dream career. The resources from the ixamBee’s SEBI Grade A Legal Online course helped him every step of the way in some form or the other.

Conclusion

Raghav’s journey to becoming a SEBI Grade A Legal Officer is a testament to the power of dedication, strategic preparation, and the right guidance. From building a strong foundation during his bachelor’s degree to mastering the complexities of the SEBI exam with the help of ixamBee’s resources, Raghav has shown that success in competitive exams is within reach for those who are committed to their goals. To get a better idea of Raghav’s journey you can watch his discussion with Ms. Neha Dubey on our YouTube channel.

Introduction

Government jobs in India rank among the most desirable career choices for young graduates, promising stability, job security, and attracting handsome perks and benefits. Nonetheless, a prevailing misconception is that these opportunities are solely accessible to fresh graduates or individuals below a specific age bracket. The dynamics of government jobs in India have undergone significant changes over the years, influenced by technology advancements, economic shifts, and societal transformations. Hence in reality, numerous government job vacancies are open to individuals aged 30-50 and beyond, offering ample opportunities for experienced professionals to join the public sector workforce. In this blog, let us explore the various government job opportunities that await candidates above a certain age.  Here are some of the reasons and main Government Job Recruitments to look out for…

Changing Landscape of Government Employment in India

For a considerable time, government jobs have been perceived as dependable and stable career options, appealing to individuals with diverse educational backgrounds. Nonetheless, during the past thirty years, the terrain of government employment has undergone notable transformations. The rise of the digital era and the escalating implementation of automation have resulted in a need for a proficient and skilled workforce across various sectors. Consequently, traditional government positions have evolved, giving rise to new opportunities for aspirants, regardless of their age, to align with the demands of the digital age.

Challenges for Aspiring Government Employees

  1.  Intense Competition: The number of applicants vying for government jobs has increased significantly over the years. As a result, the competition has become fierce, making it challenging for individuals in their 30s to secure coveted positions.
  2.  Age Barriers: In certain government sectors, there may be age restrictions for entry-level positions, depriving candidates over a certain age. This can limit the opportunities available to professionals in their 30s and beyond.
  3. Skill Relevance: With technological advancements driving change in job requirements, individuals who haven’t kept up with new skills might find their qualifications outdated. This can hinder their chances of landing a government job.
  4.  Bureaucratic Processes: Government hiring processes often involve complex bureaucratic procedures that may slow down the recruitment timeline and make it difficult for candidates to navigate the system effectively.

Opportunities for Mid-Career Transitions

Despite the challenges, there are several opportunities for professionals in their 30s and after looking to enter the government sector or make a mid-career transition.

  1. Skill Enhancement: Investing in continuous learning and upskilling is crucial to stay relevant and competitive. Government agencies often value individuals with a diverse skill set, including expertise in areas like data analytics, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
  2. Transferable Skills: Many skills acquired in the private sector are transferable to government jobs. Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities are highly valued across various roles.
  3.  Specialized Roles: Government agencies often seek professionals with specific expertise in areas like environmental conservation, public health, or international relations. Individuals with experience in these fields are always in high demand and may find unique opportunities.
  4.  Networking and Outreach: Building professional networks within the government sector can provide valuable insights and increase the likelihood of finding suitable job openings.

Embracing Technological Advancements

Government organizations are increasingly adopting technology to streamline processes and enhance service delivery. Professionals well-versed in digital tools and technology-driven solutions can contribute significantly to such initiatives, making them highly sought after in the public sector job market.

 Flexibility and Work-Life Balance

Government jobs are often associated with a stable work environment and better work-life balance compared to some private sector roles. Once appointed to a government position, employees typically enjoy tenure and are less likely to face the risk of sudden layoffs or job instability, which can be common in the private sector. Also, predictable and incremental salary growth can be appealing to those seeking financial stability. For individuals seeking a more predictable and structured career path, government employment can be an attractive option.

Observe the picture given below carefully. What do you see?

Now, think about the questions below carefully. Each of you will have your own opinion about the questions posed below.

  • Did you see the arrow that hit the bull’s eye first or did you see the ones that missed?
  • How many arrows were lost before the bull’s eye could be hit?
  • Does it matter how many chances were needed before the aim could be achieved?
  • Does one perfect shot change the status from failure to victor?
  • Is it okay if you fail a few times as long as you do not give up?

A lot of these questions will be answered through the story that we want to bring to you today.

Meet Anudeep

Anudeep is an RBI Grade B successful candidate from Sonepat, Haryana. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Hansraj College, Delhi University. RBI Grade B Exam 2022: Lessons Learnt

  • Try to understand the nature of the exam by studying the RBI Grade B previous year question papers.
  • Do not be overconfident. Despite Anudeep’s strong background in Mathematics, she did not take any of the sections like Quantitative Aptitude or Reasoning for granted. She continued to practice these subjects with the help of the RBI Grade B mock tests. This she did so that there was no mistake made on the actual exam day due to overconfidence.
  • Also with regard to the subjects that are common for both the RBI Grade B and UPSC exams, Anudeep prepared for them befittingly. Just because the syllabus is similar, it does not mean that the questions or the type of questions asked in the exams would also be the same. For example, subjects like Economics and ESI (Economic & Social Issues) are tested in both.
  • Anudeep also has a habit of timing herself when answering questions. This is a very unique and effective practice that Anudeep has told us about that we have not heard about from other aspirants. It would be good for you to inculcate the same habit too if you are planning to take the RBI Grade B 2023 exam.
  • Anudeep was unable to clear the RBI Grade B Phase 2 exam in her earlier attempt because of her slow typing speed. She practiced her typing for the entire year in order to not repeat her mistake. Her hardwork bore fruit eventually.
  • According to Anudeep, you should certainly not wait for the RBI Grade B Phase 1 results to begin preparing for the Phase 2 exam. The time gap between these 2 exam phases is quite short, i.e., approximately 30 days. The period is only 20 days after the RBI Grade B Prelims results are declared. So, begin preparing right away.
  • For her RBI Grade B Interview, she took many RBI Grade mock interviews. A feedback that she received during her mock interview was to keep checking the RBI website at regular intervals to check forthe latest updates. This feedback really helped her since she was asked some questions from the RBI reports.
  • All in all, begin preparing right away, work on your answer-solving/typing speed and do not let any sort of overconfidence hamper your exam preparation.

Irrespective of which stage of your RBI Grade B exam preparation you are on, we encourage you to draw inspiration from Anudeep’s journey. Please be sure to watch her complete interview with Prachi ma’am which has been added for you below.

RBI Grade B 2022 Results

The RBI Grade B final result 2022 was announced last week on October 21, 2022. Team ixamBee wishes all successful candidates the very best for their future. In this article, we will talk about Roshan Kumar Giria’s journey from being a UPSC aspirant to clearing the RBI Grade B exam on his third attempt. Roshan’s experience has been both eventful and inspiring. We hope you will gain much insight from his experience and use the lessons in your own preparation.

However, before we begin, let us quickly look at the permissible no. of attempts for the RBI Grade B exam.

RBI Grade B Number of Attempts

How many attempts can I give for RBI Grade B?

For General Category(Unreserved UR) : 6 attempts

OBC Non-Creamy Layer (OBC NCL): 9 attempts

SC/ST/PWD: One can appear till the upper age limit meaning there are no attempt limits.

About Roshan

Roshan earned his Master’s degree in Information Science and Engineering from the Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangaluru. Initially, Roshan was preparing to take the UPSC examinations. However, since he was unsuccessful in his attempts, he decided to make a concrete switch and decided to take the RBI Grade B exam. Team ixamBee applauds Roshan’s advantageous decision that has now borne fruit. His never say die attitude and timely readjustment will surely inspire government job aspirants.

RBI Grade B 2022 Results

While some may think that Roshan was not able to clear the RBI Grade B exam until his third attempt, we think that you only fail if you quit. In fact, through his own example, Roshan has shown how you should never give up on your dreams until you finally reach your destination. In the long run, his nonachievement in the past will hold no importance on his career graph. What is more, we are sure Roshan must have learned many invaluable life lessons in these last few years that will help him in his future both in his personal and professional life.

UPSC vs RBI Grade B

Many RBI Grade B aspirants also prepare for the civil service examinations and vice-versa. The same was the case for Roshan. He took the UPSC examination a few times but could not clear it. Then, he decided to make an intelligent switch and focused all his time and energy on RBI Grade B exam preparation. Today, he stands victorious. Roshan’s story will touch a chord, especially with those candidates who have not been able to clear the exam of their choice in the past. However, as you can see, it does not matter if you fall down. What matters more and most is whether you are able to pick yourself up again or not.

Cracking the RBI Grade B Exam

Now, let us learn more about Roshan and his exam preparation journey from the very start. He has put many long years into his exam preparation and all RBI Grade B aspirants can learn a lot from his experience. In this Interview, Mr. Susheel Ragade spoke with Roshan at length to understand when and how Roshan began and how his exam preparation evolved.

  • Roshan began his competitive exam preparation right since when he was in college.
  • He gave 4 attempts in total at the civil service examinations. Unfortunately, he was not able to clear the exam. However, Roshan was not demotivated at all and in fact, made a smart career decision. He decided to pursue the RBI Grade B exam instead. Ultimately, Roshan’s decision proved beneficial for him.
  • Since Roshan was already preparing for the UPSC exams, his preparation helped him in his RBI exam preparation as well. For example, when descriptive papers were introduced in the RBI Grade B exam pattern, it proved favorable for him. He was already in the habit of writing essay-type answers for UPSC exam preparation.
  • Similarly, Roshan was already preparing for General Awareness for the last 4 years for his civil service exams. So, he was quite up to date with the latest current affairs for competitive exams, which also helped him in the RBI Grade B general awareness section.
  • Roshan started preparing for the RBI Phase 2 exam even before the Phase 1 exam took place. He used his time wisely by dividing the syllabus between the static and dynamic portions.
  • RBI ESI (Economic and Social Issues) syllabus is tested under General Studies in the civil service exam. Once again, he had the upper hand over this part of the syllabus. Nonetheless, he kept up with the latest government schemes, government speeches, RBI reports, PIB reports and such to stay the top of the game.
  • In this interview, Roshan has also given many tips and tricks for RBI Grade B exam preparation that he utilized in his own study such as developing his own short forms and creating exam-day simulations that would help him in performing his best on the exam day.
  • The RBI Grade B interview was something that Roshan was quite afraid of! The last time he had given an Interview (before his RBI interview) was 4 years ago! Nonetheless, he took several RBI Grade mock interviews and worked on his weaknesses. He worked on his body language, speaking style, pausing between answers and other aspects. As we now know, he was able to ace his RBI interview.
  • Roshan’s candour and humility shine throughout his entire interview. He is an experienced person who has faced many setbacks in the past but chose to keep going. He took these setbacks in his stride and kept improving himself. Team ixamBee wishes him the very best for his bright future.

These were only some of the highlights from Roshan’s interview with Susheel Ragade. Please be sure to watch the video below if you would like to learn about Roshan’s exam preparation strategy and journey in more detail.

If you want to know how to crack the RBI Grade B exam, you have come to the right place. For your benefit, we have recorded a live interview with successful candidate Nipjyoti to learn more about his RBI Grade B exam preparation journey.

RBI Grade B 2023 Exam

Now that the  RBI Grade B final result 2022 has been announced and the RBI Grade B 2022 recruitment cycle has been completed, it is now time to begin preparing for the upcoming RBI Grade B 2023. However, before we do that, let us begin by asking ourselves a few questions.

  1. How to crack the RBI Grade B exam?
  2. How can I crack the RBI Grade B exam on the first attempt?
  3. Is possible to crack the RBI Grade B exam while working full-time?
  4. Do I need help with RBI Grade B preparation as a working professional?
  5. Should I take tips from RBI Grade B successful candidates?
  6. Is ixamBee’s XtremeBee hybrid course worth the hype?

Meet Nipjyoti

Nipjyoti is from Guwahati, Assam. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Silchar. Next, he took the CAT exam and pursued his MBA from IIM Calcutta. He worked with Vedanta for 4 years before deciding to pursue the RBI Grade B 2022 exam.

Highlights from Nipjyoti’s Journey

While speaking with Nipjyoti, we kept in mind these questions to get a better understanding of his journey from a private sector job to getting a job with the RBI.

  • Which is better, RBI Grade B or a private bank job?
  • How did you manage to study for an RBI Grade B officer while working in a private bank or doing a private job?
  • Is it good to leave a private job worth 15 LPA & join RBI Grade B?
  • Those from IIT/IIM who have joined RBI as grade B officers, how satisfied do you feel?
  • How did ixamBee’s XtremeBee hybrid course help Nipjyoti in his RBI Grade B exam preparation?
  • What is Nipjyoti’s advice for RBI aspirants who are preparing for RBI Grade B 2023?

Government Job VS Private Job

In India which one is really better: a government job or a private job?

Has this question ever crossed your mind when thinking about your career? In all fairness, we have to measure the pros and cons of government and private jobs before we come to a decision. Some people choose the best of both worlds! That is, they work in one sector for some time and then switch to the other when the opportunity arrives. At the end of the day, the choices we make determine the course of our professional careers.

The same is the case with Nipjyoti. After completing his MBA from IIM Calcutta, he worked a lucrative private-sector job with a very attractive package. However, he then decided to take the RBI 2022 exam and successfully cleared it as well. What motivated Nipjyoti to leave his high-paying private job for a Grade B post at the RBI? Will he find more opportunities for career progression at the RBI than he did at his earlier job? What are Nipjyoti’s professional goals for his future?

We would love to find the answers to these questions and many more as would you! Let us hear directly from Nipjyoti about his thoughts on his career switch and what he has planned for his future.

XtremeBee Hybrid Course

Since Nipjyoti took the XtremeBee course, his preparation journey revolved around this hybrid coaching method. Mr. Susheel Ragade has spoken to Nipjyoti at length to understand how he benefitted from this course and what other resources did he refer to, if at all.

  • The Aptitude Test subjects were always Nipjyoti’s strong point given his educational background and the fact that he has taken the CAT exam in the past.
  • However, since he was out of touch with his studies while working a job, he began taking  RBI Grade B mock tests in order to touch base with his strengths again.
  • For both Phase 1 and Phase 2, Nipjyoti referred to ixamBee’s BeePedia capsules to catch up with the RBI general awareness syllabus. The concise and crisp content helps him to catch up with current affairs easily.
  • When Nipjyoti cleared the RBI Grade B Phase 1 exam, he was very serious about clearing the RBI Grade B Phase 2 exam as well. For this, Nipjyoti joined ixamBee’s XtremeBee Hybrid Course. This is a part-online/part-offline course that helps students gain the best of both methods of coaching. Taking this course gave Nipjyoti the boost he needed after writing the Phase 1 exam. He did not wait for the results but kept preparing with ixamBee and in the end, he emerged successful.
  • Nipjyoti was sure he would be asked the one question that everybody is wondering, i.e., why does he want to switch from a high-paying private job to a public-sector job? And he was prepared to answer it. Nipjyoti was able to convince the RBI Interview panel that this is the life that he wants and spoke candidly about his future goals.
  • Nipjyoti’s family was initially apprehensive about his job switch. However, they were most happy to learn that Nipjyoti was able to seize his dream.

Lastly, we encourage you to watch Nipjyoti’s entire interview with Mr. Susheel Ragade. We are sure it will help you make some choices for your future as well.

We hope this interview with Nipjyoti will help you decide on your career path as well. You can draw lessons from his choices and cross-check how these can help you reach your goals.

If there is anything else that you would like to ask Nipjyoti, please let us know!

We wish you all success in whatever you choose.

Well, today it is time to deconstruct government job exams with our very own competitive exam pundit, Mr. Vipin Tyagi.

Meet Vipin

Vipin completed his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from HBTI Kanpur. After that, he worked as an Operations Officer at HPCL and later as a Tax Assistant in Central GST Audit Commissiorate. Now, in his third stint, Vipin has cleared the RBI 2022 exam and landed the much-desired job as a Grade ‘B’ Officer. As you will observe in his interview, Vipin is a very well-rounded individual. He not only has been preparing for competitive exams, but he is also been working full-time since completing his education. Moreover, he has also been very interested in extra-curricular activities since his college days and reads the scriptures as well.

In our conversation with Vipin, we have tried to understand how Vipin managed to clear so many exams. What resources has he been referring to? Will he appear for any more exams after this? Let’s find out!

How to Clear Government Job Exams

In this interview, Mr. C.P. Joshi asked Vipin questions that have certainly popped up in the mind of all aspirants. For example:

  • How many government job exams has Vipin cleared?
  • What has been Vipin’s strategy to clear all competitive exams?
  • What is the best way for a student to prepare for competitive exams?
  • What is the best study material for all competitive exams?
  • How to prepare for the government exam with a full-time job?
  • How do I prepare general knowledge for competitive exams?

Tips to Crack Government Job Exams

Now, let us find the answer to our questions. We have listed some important points from Vipin’s interview for you below.

  • Clarity is the most important step to beginning and ending any task successfully. Through his example, Vipin has shown how he was able to successfully clear the RBI 2022 exam with only 37 days of preparation.
  • Given his educational background, the QRE section was Vipin’s strength. However, he wanted to know if he could get the cut-off mark or not, which is why he took some RBI Grade B mock tests to check where he stands in his preparation.
  • For Quantitative Aptitude, Vipin advises that you must pick out the important topics that will help you to get the cut-off mark. If this section is not your best front, then you should focus on bringing the cut-off score as it will help you to qualify for the next stage.
  • Vipin dedicated special attention to preparing for the RBI Grade B General Awareness section. He went over the RBI reports, circulars, Economic Survey and other resources to strengthen this part of his exam preparation.
  • As for RBI Grade B Phase 2, Vipin focused his attention especially on the RBI descriptive papers because writing essay-type answers are his strength.
  • At every stage, Vipin was very mindful of the syllabus of the exam. He made sure that his preparation was completely exam centric. That is to say, he knew exactly what was expected of him in the RBI Grade B exam and worked towards that only. This is a very smart and focused way to approach any competitive exam preparation.
  • Vipin has also observed that if you want to understand how to clear government job exams, an important tip is that the climax of your exam preparation should be achieved on the day of the exam. You should not exhaust yourself physically or mentally before the exam that you are not able to give your best on the day of the exam. Hence, utilize your energy wisely.
  • Vipin to several RBI Grade mock interviews in order to ensure that he is able to clear the last step of the RBI Grade B selection process smoothly. After having come so far, he did not want to take any risk in the last lap of the race.
  • As aforementioned, Vipin prepared for the RBI Grade B exam in less than 1.5 months. However, he does not recommend it. According to Vipin, candidates should begin preparing at least 6 months before the exam if they want sure-shot success. Vipin was unable to begin his preparation earlier due to some personal reasons.
  • After having taken quite a few competitive exams, Vipin has a very good idea about what his strengths and weaknesses are. This has been achieved by method of trial and error. Therefore, if you too want to take the RBI Grade B exam or any other competitive exam for that matter, you must be able to determine what your strengths are and use them in your favour.
  • Vipin’s experience inspires us to keep going and trying to reach our highest potential. After getting 2 government jobs already, Vipin was determined to keep going farther and to reach the very top. We are sure his extraordinary journey will inspire us as well.

Now, you are advised to watch the entire interview as well which has been added for your benefit below. We are sure that you will gain immense insight and direction from Vipin’s thoughts and words. We hope Vipin’s inspirational journey will inspire you as well. Vipin has proven that no dream is too distant if you pour your heart and mind into it.

  • Tanya cleared the Bank PO exam before deciding to pursue her RBI dream. She conducted her RBI Grade B exam preparation as a working professional while working as a Bank PO at a prestigious PSB.
  • As aforementioned, Tanya is not an engineer by education. Often, candidates are discouraged by the Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning sections because they feel only those with engineering backgrounds can clear these sections properly. Tanya has proved this notion wrong.
  • Tanya considers herself an average student. However, she has proven that through dedication and tireless effort, all “average” students can clear the RBI exam.
  • She took the help of RBI Grade B mock tests to strengthen her preparation.
  • Tanya’s experience with her job as a researcher helped her to hone her writing skills. She drew upon her article-writing experience to write the best descriptive answers with clarity and relevant content.
  • Consistency and discipline are most important. Tanya has shown how discipline can go a long way in achieving your goal, whatever your goal may be. She would rest for half an hour after coming back home from her job and study earnestly every evening after work.
  • According to Tanya, a career with the RBI is not only great for your professional growth but is equally beneficial for your personal growth as well. You will get immense exposure and opportunities to develop and exhibit your skills.
  • A piece of advice that Tanya has offered to all aspirants is that there are different challenges that all of us face on a daily basis. If you want to build your career with the RBI, you will have to rise above these challenges and reach your goal. There is no ideal or hurdle-free time to begin working on your goals, therefore, begin today.

Moreover, she made it a habit to make note of every point of feedback that she received.
