• You should not worry about the sectional timings but just focus on how to maximize your attempts in subjects like English and also the easier questions in Quant and Reasoning section in the Preliminary (Prelims) exam.
• Accuracy is the key as that is what will land you in the final list of selected candidates. As the negative marking in the exam will lead you to attaining lesser scores if you blindly tick the options and just think of increasing the number of attempts. That won’t help.

SBI PO recruitment process consists of a total of three phases and they are as follows:

SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2020:

SBI PO Prelims exam is a multiple-choice online exam consist of a total of 100 marks. The subjects involved in the exam are Logical Reasoning, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude. Please note that there is no sectional cutoff in the exam and overall marks will be evaluated to qualify for the next phase. Also, this phase is qualifying in nature which means that the score obtained in this will not be counted while making the final merit list. The complete exam pattern is provided in the table below:

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern 2020:

If you will manage to qualify the prelims or phase 1 of SBI PO exam 2020, you will be called for the mains exam. This exam is very crucial because it decides your selection in the exam. The score obtained in this exam will be taken into consideration in shortlisting for the Interview round as well while making the final merit list. Descriptive Test:  30 minutes duration of Descriptive Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) will take place in which 50 marks will be allotted.

Questions related to your past experience and some questions related to General Knowledge can be asked by the panel. • You need to ensure that the date of birth is the same as the one entered at the time of registration. You can refer the application form print out if you forgot the date of birth you entered. The date of birth should be entered in DD-MM-YY format.

Documents required on the day of SBI PO Mains 2019 exam:

• SBI PO Mains Call letter/Admit Card
• one photo identity proof such as passport/ Aadhar/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Voter’s Id Card/ Bank Passbook with Photograph/ Identity Card issued by School or College/ Gazetted Officer in the official letterhead in original as well as a self-attested Photocopy thereof.
• Your photo and thumb impression may be taken in digital format for biometric verification, therefore it is advised not to apply any external matter like Mehandi, ink, chemical etc. on their hands.

SBI PO 2019 Mains Exam Pattern:

Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks

SBI PO 2019 Descriptive Test:

• English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) for 50 marks Group Exercise & Interview
• Group discussion is for 20 marks
• Interview is for 30 marks
