    AIC MT Eligibility Criteria

    The Agriculture Insurance Company of India announced 55 vacancies for the posts of Management Trainees for he year 2025. This is an important opportunity for all job aspirants who have the requisite qualifications. While applying for any important exam such as this one, checking the complete AIC Management Trainee eligibility criteria 2025 is an important thing. Let’s check the complete requirements: 

    AIC Educational Qualification as of 1.12.24

    The basic AIC MT educational qualification required for the AIC Management Trainee for the General stream is a Bachelor’s degree in any field. The degrees need to be obtained from a recognized university and should have attained at least 60% marks for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

    Legal Management Graduate in Law with 60% marks, (for SC/ST 55%) Or Post Graduation in Law with 60% marks (for SC/ST 55%)

    The educational qualification must be from a University, Institution, or Board recognized by the Government of India or approved by Government Regulatory Bodies, with the result declared on or before 01.12.2024. Additionally, the candidate must possess a valid mark-sheet or Degree Certificate for the required qualification as of 01.12.2024.

    AIC Age Criteria as on 01.12.24

    To be eligible for an exam, you should follow the prescribed age limit as mentioned by the Agriculture Insurance Company of India in its recruitment notification 2025. The minimum age to apply for the AIC MT post is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years. A candidate must have been born between December 2, 1994, and December 1, 2003, inclusive of both dates.     i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than June 2nd, 1993 and not later than June 01, 2002 (both dates inclusive).

    Age Relaxation

    The Agriculture Insurance Company of India will be providing certain relaxation in the upper age limit of the reserved category candidates. The OBC category candidates will be eligible for relaxation only if they belong to the ‘non-creamy layer’. Check out the details below:

The ECOs/SSCOs who have completed an initial period of assignment of five years of Military Service as on and whose assignment has been extended beyond five years an in whose case the Ministry of Defense issues a certificate that they can apply for civil employment and that they will be released on three months’ notice on selection from the date of receipt of offer of appointment. 5 years
    5. Defense service personnel disabled in operation during the hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as consequence thereof 3 years

    Note:

    • If a candidate is eligible for age relaxation under multiple categories, the relaxation will be granted cumulatively, in accordance with Government guidelines and Company rules, provided the total age does not exceed 45 years.
    • Candidates requesting age relaxation must submit the necessary certificate(s) and present the original certificates for verification during the interview and/or at any subsequent stage of the recruitment process.
    • An Ex-serviceman who has joined a government job in the civil sector after benefiting from Ex-servicemen re-employment provisions will lose their Ex-servicemen status for future government re-employment. However, they will still be eligible for age relaxation applicable to Ex-servicemen.
    • An Ex-serviceman who applies for various vacancies before taking up civil employment can avail themselves of Ex-servicemen reservation benefits for future employment. To do so, the Ex-serviceman must submit a self-declaration or undertaking to their new employer, detailing the dates of applications made before starting their initial civil employment. This benefit is applicable only for vacancies filled through direct recruitment and where Ex-servicemen reservation is provided.
    • Ex-servicemen do not receive reservation in the Officer's cadre.

    No. Only those candidates who belong to the non-creamy layer of the OBC category are eligible for an age relaxation. The OBC candidates from creamy layer will indicate their category as General.
    Unfortunately, no. The AIC 2025 official notification clearly states that a candidate must have been born not earlier than January 1, 1993, and not later than December 31, 2001, wherein both dates are inclusive
    No. The AIC recruitment notification 2025 does not demand any work experience from applicants. Please do check the age and educational qualification requirements of the post nonetheless.
