AIC MT Exam Pattern 2023

The Agriculture Insurance Company of India exam 2023 will be held in two phases as mentioned below. The AIC MT online written exam will be held on February 25, 2023.

• Phase 1- Online Written Examination (Objective & Descriptive) - 150 marks 
• Phase 2- Interview - 50 marks

Online Written Examination

The Agriculture Insurance Company of India exam (Objective & Descriptive) comprises a total of 150 marks. A total of 150 minutes will be allotted to solve the entire paper. There will be 5 sections (4 objective sections and a descriptive one). The Minimum qualifying marks in the online examination is 60% for General, OBC & EWS, and 55% for SC/ST. Detailed Agriculture Insurance Company of India exam pattern is provided in the table below. 

Please note that the Company reserves the right to relax/extend the eligibility standard in respect of minimum prescribed marks in the Online examination.

AIC MT Personal Interview

You will be ranked in the order of merit and will be called for an interview if you qualify for the minimum percentage required in the online examination. The number of candidates that will be called for interviews will be about three times the number of vacancies to be filled in subject to the availability of successful candidates. The weightage of the personal interview is 50 marks. The company reserves the right to fix the minimum marks to qualify for the interview. Please note that any request regarding a change in date, or the centre of the interview will not be entertained.

Pre-Exam Training (Online) 

Those candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, Non-creamy, and PwBD who wish to avail the benefit of pre-examination online training may indicate the same while applying online. Those who have opted for training will also be informed through registered email/mobile. Please note that merely attending the pre-examination training must not misinterpret as offered employment in the Company.

AIC MT Marking Scheme 

There will be negative marks for every wrong answer marked i.e. 1/4th of the allotted marks (in objective tests) will be deducted for each wrong answer. No marks will be deducted for unattempted answers. 

Exam Language 

The medium of examination will be Hindi and English except for the test in English language (Objective and Descriptive). Please note that the Company also reserves the right to modify the structure of the examination which will be intimated through its website.
