Eligibility Criteria 2024
Before applying for APS TGT/PGT OR APS PRT 2024 post you should ensure that you possess the essential qualification and professional skills required for the vacancies so that your application is not rejected at a later stage. TET/CTET is not essential for appearing in the online exam but mandatory for appointment as TGTs/PRTs. Let's have a look into the eligibility criteria-
APS Exam Educational Criteria
If you are applying for the APS TGT/PGT or for APS PRT post you should go through the detailed notification thoroughly once again to ensure that you possess the essential and desirable qualifications as well as the professional qualification to appear for the online exam. The detailed information is provided below-

PGT | Post Graduation + B.Ed along with 50% of marks |
TGT | Graduation + B.Ed along with 50% of marks |
PRT | Graduation + B.Ed/ Two year Diploma in elementary education along with 50% of marks |
Please Note:
- CTET/TET is not mandatory for appearing in the Online Screening Test. However, CTET/TET conducted by the Centre/State government is mandatory at the time of appointment as TGTs/PRTs in the Regular and Fixed term category. Candidates who have not quaified CTET/TET but are found fit in all other aspects may be considered for appointment on vacancies which may be adhoc in nature till attainment of appropriate qualification.
- Furthermore, candidates must ensure that they at least fulfill the NCTE rules, regulations and notifications for minimum qualifications, KV Sangathan recruitment rules and regulations and Appendix-VII of CBSE Affiliation Bye-laws 2018 before registering for the Online Screening Test.
- Aggregate percentage will be based on the marks for the entire duration of Graduation/Post Graduation.
APS Exam Age Criteria
You need to lie within age limit to apply for the exam. If you are a fresher you need to be below 40 years and if experienced below 57 years. Detailed information is given below-
