Eligibility criteria 2024
BOB SO official notification 2024 contains complete BOB SO 2024 eligibility with respect to age, nationality, education etc. All the candidates who want to start their career in BOB SO need to conform to the eligibility criteria mentioned in the notification, to avoid any unwanted consequences later.
The candidate applying shall ensure that they maintain a healthy Credit history and shall have a minimum CIBIL score of 650 or above at the time of joining. The minimum credit score will be as per the Bank's policy. This can be changed from time to time. For detailed BOB SO Eligibility Criteria, please look at the table below.
Nationality
To apply for the BOB SO exam, a candidate must belong to any one of the following categories. A candidate must be:
- A Citizen of India
- A subject of Nepal
- A subject of Bhutan
- A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India,
OR - A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Educational Criteria (As on November 01,2021)
All the candidates need to follow the specified eligibility criteria with respect to educational qualification for BOB SO Exam to ensure their candidature is not cancelled. A candidate needs to have the following educational qualification and experience (if required) to be eligible to fill out the application form for BOB SO exam. Refer to the table for further details-

Age Criteria (As on November 01,2021)
To be able to apply for BOB SO Exam a candidate needs to follow certain criteria with respect to age. The BOB SO age limit of a candidate should not be below 25 years and not above 40 years. Different posts will have different age limits coming under the range mentioned in the notification. The table below gives further details on BOB SO age limit-

Age Relaxation (As on November 01,2021)
BOB SO exam also provides relaxation in age for some reserved categories. The purpose of providing relaxation to some reserved categories is to uplift the living standard and give equal opportunities to the underprivileged class of applicants.
