BOM Rajbhasha Officer Eligibility Criteria 2023
You will have to satisfy some basic BOM Rajbhasha eligibility criteria in order to be able to apply for the recruitment process. As we have discussed in detail in the table below, this includes fulfilling the educational qualification, age limit, and experience requirements. Please note that the BOM cut-off date for the eligibility criteria is October 31, 2022.
BOM Rajbhasha Educational Requirements
If you want to be eligible for the BOM SO Rajbhasha exam, you must have a postgraduate degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree (graduation) level from a university or institute recognized by the Government of India or its Regulatory authorities, with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years of postgraduation. Desirable: Diploma in Translation Experience: Minimum 3 years of Experience in Hindi Department in any Public sector/Bank/Central Govt/State govt/Defence. |
BOM Rajbhasha Age Criteria
In order to satisfy the BOM SO age criteria, a candidate must be between 25 to 35 years of age.

BOM SO Age Relaxation
In some cases, age relaxation will be offered to eligible candidates. Please refer to the table below:

- A candidate can apply for one post only. Multiple applications by the same candidate will be rejected.
- The cut-off date for the eligibility criteria is October 31, 2022.
- Not producing relevant eligibility documents at the time of the interview shall lead to disqualification.
- Candidates belonging to the OBC category but coming in the 'CREAMY LAYER’, are not entitled to OBC reservation and age relaxation. They should indicate their category as 'GEN' or’GEN (OC)' or ’GEN (VI)' or GEN (HI) or GEN (ID), as applicable.
