CBSE Exam Age Criteria (As of January 31, 2025)
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has specified age limits for candidates applying for the Junior Assistant and Superintendent posts in the 2025 recruitment cycle. For the Junior Assistant position, the minimum age requirement is 18 years, and the upper age limit is 27 years. CBSE Exam Age Relaxation (As of January 31, 2025)
The CBSE Exam 2025 provides age relaxation for reserved categories as per government norms. SC/ST candidates receive a relaxation of 5 years, while OBC candidates get 3 years. Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are eligible for additional relaxation of up to 10 years. Ex-Servicemen and other specific categories also benefit from age relaxation. Candidates must submit valid documents to claim these relaxations during the application process.

For Group B and C posts: an ex-servicemen shall be allowed to deduct the period of actual military service from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post for which he is seeking appointment by more than three years, he shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding age limit. (Age relaxation is not admissible to sons, daughters and dependents of Ex-Servicemen. Therefore, such candidate should not indicate their category as Ex-Servicemen.) |
