    CMAT Exam Pattern 2024

    Every year the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts recruitment for the CMAT exam. The total duration of the computer-based online exam is 180 minutes. However, in 2022 the CMAT exam pattern was revised. Now, as per the 2023 CMAT exam pattern there are five different sections and each section has 20 questions with 100 marks. Each correct answer is of 4 marks and each incorrect answer will have a negative marking of 1 mark. The medium of the exam is English only. However, the latest details will be known, only with the release of CMAT exam 2024.

    CMAT Exam Syllabus 2024

    Before starting CMAT preparation it is important that aspirants are well versed with topics and the detailed CMAT syllabus for the exam. As of the previous notification of April 2023, the exam has objective questions from Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, English, General Awareness and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.     CMAT Eligibility Criteria

    Prospective MBA/PGDM students aiming for admission to prestigious CMAT colleges are advised to submit their applications for the CMAT entrance exam 2024 through the official CMAT NTA website, cmat.nta.ac.in. To apply for CMAT an aspirant should meet various eligibility criteria like Education Qualification, Age Nationality, Number of attempts permissible etc. As per the previous CMAT notification, there is no age restriction for appearing in the CMAT exam. For admission to a participating institute, please see the reservations applicable in that particular institute. Aspiring candidates should be fully aware of the CMAT eligibility criteria, in order to determine their eligibility for the examination and avoid any disqualification issues during the application process.     CMAT The candidate must hold a Bachelor‟s Degree in any discipline. Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor‟s Degree, whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2022-23, can also apply for CMAT-2022

    No, there is no centralized counselling program for admitting befitting students to the management schools. Approximately 1,300 MBA colleges in India accept CMAT scores for student selection and initiate their individual admission processes. MBA colleges that consider CMAT scores for student selection, may conduct any one or more of other selection procedures in addition, like group discussions, written ability tests, and personal interviews, alongside consideration of academic records and work experience. Since the admission cycles and application timelines for CMAT-accepting colleges may differ, candidates are advised to regularly monitor the admission notifications of their preferred institutions.
    As of the last notification, CMAT exam will have objective questions from Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, English, General Awareness and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. It’s a computer-based online exam of total duration of 180 minutes (3 hours) and total 100 marks.
