CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2024
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) stands as one of India's premier MBA entrance examinations. Administered annually by the National Testing Agency (NTA), CMAT opens doors to over 1000 esteemed business schools that acknowledge its scores. The NTA is yet to reveal the notification and exam date for CMAT exam 2024. Last year the examination took place in the first week of May 2023.
Before you apply for the CMAT 2024 exam, it is essential to know the CMAT eligibility criteria. Therefore, to ensure that your candidature does not get cancelled, an aspirant should meet various eligibility criteria like Education Qualification, Age, Nationality, Number of attempts permissible etc. Let’s look at the CMAT 2023 eligibility criteria below for reference:
Nationality
First and foremost, only Indian citizens are eligible to appear for the CMAT exam. Candidates belonging to other nationalities cannot appear for the CMAT exam.
CMAT Educational Qualifications 2024
To be eligible for the CMAT exam, the minimum education requirement is that you must be a graduate from a recognised university in any stream. Furthermore, candidates in their final year are also eligible to apply for the CMAT exam provided they get their final result before the commencement of the CMAT 2024 process.

Age Criteria & Age Relaxation
As per previous CMAT notification of 2023, there is no age restriction on the upper age limit for appearing in the CMAT exam.
However, every participating institute has their own criteria for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories. For admission to a participating institute, please see the reservations applicable in that particular institute. In case of institutes run by Central Government the seats are reserved for the various category as follows:-
