Delhi Police Head Constable selection process comprises five stages. SSC Head Constable Online Written Exam 2024 - 100 Marks
The Delhi Police Head Constable exam will be conducted online. Delhi Police Head Constable exam pattern involves five sections namely General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, English, and Computer Fundamentals. Physical Endurance and Measurement Test- Qualifying
Those students who will qualify for the Delhi Police Head Constable exam will have to go for the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test. Also, PE&MT will be qualifying in nature. A Physical Endurance and Measurement Test is prescribed by SSC for Delhi Police Head Constable Post. In PET, You have to undergo some tests like race, long jump and high jump. All the details are given below.
Physical Endurance for Male Candidates
Male candidates have to undergo a physical endurance test, details are given below/including ex-serviceman which is required to undergo the PET.

Physical Measurement for Male candidates
The Physical Measurement Test will be taken only after you qualify for the Physical Endurance Test. The standard of Physical Measurements is given as follows:

Physical Endurance for Female candidates
Below is the standard of Physical Endurance Test for female candidates including Departmental candidates. Please note that those female candidates who are pregnant at the time of PE&MT will not be allowed to participate in the Physical Endurance Test.

Physical Measurement for Female candidates
You will have to take the Measurement test only if you qualify the Physical Endurance Test. There are certain standards of Physical Measurements which you have to quality are given as follows:

Typing Test (on Computer) - 25 marks
After qualifying for the written exam and Physical Endurance & Measurement Tests (PE&MT), you will be called for a typing test on a computer. The test shall be of 10 minutes in duration. The marks obtained in the typing test will be taken into consideration while preparing for the final merit. The candidates will be allotted marks according to the speed achieved in the typing test.
Delhi Police Head Constable Computer Test (Qualifying)
After the typing test, you shall be called for the Computer (Formatting) Test and will be tested on MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel which will be of qualifying nature. You will be given 10 minutes time for each test separately. The following formatting features used in the routine would be tested.
Delhi Police Head Constable Marking Scheme
Each question in the Delhi Police Head Constable written exam consists of 1 mark. There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. You are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions. Further details can be seen in the table below.
