ESIC Exam Pattern 2024
ESIC is one of the prestigious jobs through which one can start one’s career. The ESIC Selection process differs for UDC and Stenographer. The ESIC UDC Recruitment 2024 will take place in three stages - Preliminary, Mains and Computer Skill Test and you have to undergo all three stages to secure a seat in the ESIC UDC exam 2024.
ESIC Stenographer recruitment on the other hand will have direct recruitment in which candidates have to undergo an online written test followed by a Skill test (Dictation and Transcription).
ESIC Exam Pattern (Upper Division Clerk)
ESIC UDC Recruitment 2024 comprises three stages and they are as follows.
- Phase 1- ESIC UDC Prelims Exam 2024 (Qualifying in Nature)
- Phase 2- ESIC UDC Mains Exam 2024 (Required for the final selection.)

Prelims Exam Pattern 2024

Mains Exam Pattern 2024
ESIC UDC Mains Exam Pattern will be held after you qualify for the Prelims exam. In ESIC UDC Prelims Exam Pattern 2024, a two-hour exam will be conducted in which you have to solve 200 questions for 200 marks. The Subjects involved are the same General Intelligence and Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General English and General Awareness. Phase 2 marks will be required for the final selection. Computer Skills Test
Shortlisting for Phase 3 will be done in the ratio of 1:5 i.e. 5 candidates will be competing over one seat. Computer Skill Test will be qualifying in nature. Stenographer Exam Pattern (Online Test)

Qualifying Marks
For the Online Written-test
- 45% for UR Category, 40% for OBC Category & EWS category,

ESIC Marking Scheme
In the ESIC prelims exam 2024, each question carries 2 marks whereas, in the ESIC Mains exam, each question carries 1 mark. A penalty of 1/4th of marks will be charged for every incorrect answer in both Prelims and Mains (wherever applicable).
