ESIC SSO Exam Pattern 

ESIC conducts recruitment for the post of SSO which is a prestigious job to start one's career. Till the 2024 notification is released, candidates can refer to the previous recruitment details for reference. The entire recruitment process of the ESIC SSO exam involves online examinations of objective and descriptive types. A candidate should pass all three stages of the ESIC SSO exam to get selected. The ESIC SSO exam pattern comprises three stages : Phase 1- ESIC SSO Prelims Exam (Objective), Phase 2- ESIC SSO Mains Exam (Objective) and Phase 3- Computer Skills Test and Descriptive test 

Please Note: 

ESIC SSO Prelims exam is qualifying in nature i.e. the marks obtained will not be counted for final merit. Only the Mains score will be considered for making the final merit list. 

For each wrong answer, a penalty of one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be charged. Make sure to read the ESIC SSO Marking Scheme in detail. 

For the ESIC SSO Mains exam, candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:10 i.e. about 10 times the number of vacancies in each category. 

If the examination is held in more than one session, the scores across various sessions will be equated following standard practice to adjust for slight differences in difficulty level of different test batteries used across sessions.
