    IB Security Assistant and MTS Salary

Being a central government service the IB Security Assistant salary is handsome. The post is non-ministerial and non-gazetted.

    As the IB recruitment 2024 notification is for two different posts so the salary for both differs. IB Security Assistant being a higher level post comes under Level 3 while MTS comes under Level 1. Detailed IB Security Assistant and MTS salary is given in the table below.

    Security Assistant/Executive Level-3 (Rs. 21700-69100) in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Govt. allowances.
    MTS/Gen Level-1 (Rs. 18000-56900) in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Govt. allowances
    Note: i. Special Security Allowance @ 20% of basic pay in addition to other Govt. allowances. ii. Cash compensation in lieu of duty performed on holidays subject to a ceiling of 30 days

    IB Security Assistant and MTS Job Profile

    As a Security Assistant and MTS in IB you have various roles and responsibilities to perform. Some of the duties that you are required to perform on day today basis are

    • Assisting the Security Officer in collecting all details regarding security/law 
    • Reporting matters/breaches of security to the police as per the direction from the authorities
    • Patrolling and checking duties during the day and night
