The Intelligence Bureau or IB is India's internal intelligence agency whose main function is to execute counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism tasks. It was recast as the Central Intelligence Bureau in 1947 under the Ministry of Home Affairs as India got independence. It has come out with its recruitment notification of 2023 for various posts.
