The IBPS PO 2024 notification has finally been released. IBPS conducts an online exam to select eligible candidates for the post of Probationary Officer. According to the IBPS annual Calendar 2024, IBPS PO Prelims 2024 will be held in October 2024. The Mains of IBPS PO 2024 is expected to be held in November 2024. How to Apply Online for IBPS PO 2024

According to the 2024 IBPS PO notification, the online application link for registration will be active from August 1, 2024, and end by August 21, 2024. Candidates are advised to begin their application process as soon as the link is active and avoid any delays. The simple procedure to fill IBPS PO recruitment application form is mentioned below.

  • Visit the official IBPS website at www.ibps.in and locate the"CLICK HERE FOR REGISTRATION" tab situated in the top right corner of the page.
  • Upon clicking, a new tab will open. Provide all the required details as prompted.
  • A provisional registration number and password will be sent to your registered email address and contact number.
  • Log in again using the provided credentials and complete the remaining sections by entering relevant information.
  • Upload a scanned passport-size photograph and signature in accordance with the specified guidelines, then proceed by clicking the Next button.
  • In addition to the mentioned documents, ensure that you also upload your thumb impression and a handwritten declaration, following the specified instructions provided.

Guidelines for Uploading the Photograph

  • The photograph dimensions must be 4.5 cm * 3.5 cm.
  • The photograph must be clear and of passport size.
  • The size of the photograph must be between 20KB - 50 KB.

Guidelines for Uploading the Signature

  • The signature of the applicant must be clear and legible.
  • The signature should only be done with either blue or black ink.
  • The size should be between 10KB-20 KB.

Left thumb impression

  • The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink.
  • File type: jpg/jpeg
  • Dimension: 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e 3 cm * 3 cm (Width * Height)
  • File Size: 20 KB – 50 KB

Hand-written declaration:

  • The handwritten declaration should not be written in CAPITAL LETTERS.
  • You have to clearly write the declaration in English on white paper with black or blue ink.
  • The handwritten declaration should be in your handwriting.
  • File type: jpg/jpeg
  • Dimensions: 800 x 400 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e 10 cm * 5 cm (Width * Height)
  • File Size: 50 KB – 100 KB
  • “I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
  • After you move on to the next page, you will have to fill in your personal details including your educational qualifications.
  • The next step would be filling the exam centre preference list. You will be required to fill in 4 centers. Click on 'Save & Next'.
  • After you are finished entering the details, the preview of your form will be shown, so that if you find any error, you can edit and correct it. Once the application is submitted, you will not be able to edit it.
  • In the end, you will have to choose a preferable online payment method to submit the application fee for IBPS PO. You can pay the fees through credit card/debit card / net banking etc.
  • Click on the 'Submit' button to complete the application

IBPS PO Admit Card 2024

Visit the IBPS official website to download your IBPS PO Admit Card, containing essential details such as the exam date, time, and venue. Based on the IBPS PO notification when entering the exam venue, ensure you have a printed copy of the admit card, featuring a recent passport-size photograph, and bring along a valid identity proof. It's important to note that separate admit cards will be released for the IBPS PO Prelims, Mains, and Interviews.

IBPS PO Number of Attempts

No maximum number of attempts for the IBPS PO exam have been stipulated as per IBPS PO notifications so far. Candidates can make unlimited attempts for the IBPS PO exam, provided they adhere to the age limit set by IBPS, which is 21 to 30 years. There are no restrictions on the number of attempts within this age range.

IBPS PO Pre-Exam Training

IBPS administers 'Pre-Exam Training' (PET) specifically for reserved categories to foster inclusivity in the recruitment process. According to the 2024 IBPS PO notification, the Pre-Exam Training will be conducted in September 2024. The PET can be conducted in offline or online mode, according to the notification. PET is designed to equip candidates with essential information pertaining to the IBPS PO exam. Participating organizations, in accordance with the Government of India's guidelines, organize pre-examination training for SC/ST/Religious Minority Community candidates at designated centers.
