Exam Pattern

IBPS will be conducting the recruitment process for the posts of Research Associate & Hindi Officer in the months of October & November 2021. Firstly you need to gather complete information with respect to the exam. Knowing the complete IBPS exam pattern will help you a lot in chalking out a fair plan of preparation. There will be different stages in the process depending on the post for which you will be applying. Generally all the posts will require you to appear for an online exam and interview with other stages like Item Writing Exercise, Group Exercise etc.The final selection will be made by the committee.

Let us look into the detailed exam pattern for Research Associate & Hindi Officer. 

Research Associate

The IBPS Research Associate exam pattern 2024 consists of four stages: Online exam, Item Writing Exercise, Group Exercises and Personal Interview. The online exam will be the first stage of the selection process. It will consist of objective type questions on various subjects such as Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language & General Awareness. The sections will carry 50 marks each. 

• There will be sectional timings in all the sections.
• Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks in all the sections.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
• All the sections will only be available in English.

Hindi Officer

To fare well in the exam, you should be well acquainted with the complete IBPS Hindi Officer exam pattern. The selection process of Hindi Officer will also contain various stages such as Online exam, Skill Test, Item Writing Exercise, and Personal Interview. The online exam will be the first stage of the selection process. It will consist of objective type questions on various subjects such as Reasoning, Hindi Language, English Language & General Awareness. The Hindi Language section will carry the maximum marks (75) among all others. Though the number of questions in all the sections will be the same, i.e. 50. 

• There will be separate sectional timings in all the sections.
• Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks in all the sections.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
• All the sections will only be available in English, except the Hindi Language section.

Marking Scheme

There will be an online examination for both the posts of Research Associate & Hindi Officer where there will be objective type questions on various subjects & topics. 

• For the post of Research Associate, all the questions will carry 1 mark each.
• For the post of Hindi Officer, there will be variable marking in all the sections.
• There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks in both Research Associate & Hindi Officer exams.

Exam Language

There will be various stages in the recruitment process of IBPS Research Associate & Hindi Officer. All the questions that will be asked in the online exam for the post of Research Associate will only be available in one language, i,e. English language.

For the post of Hindi Officer, there will be a section of Hindi Language instead of the Quantitative Aptitude section. Thus, except the Hindi Language section, all other sections will be available in English only.
