ICAR IARI Exam Pattern 2024
The Indian Agricultural Research Institute Exam recruitment notification 2024 for the post of TECHNICIAN (T-1) has been released by ICAR. The IARI Technician exam pattern comprises of:

ICAR IARI Technician Online Written Exam
The IARI Technician (T-1) exam 2024 will be an online test consisting of four sections - General Knowledge, Mathematics Science, and Social Science respectively. You will get 90 minutes in total to solve the question paper. It will be, an objective type (Multiple Choice Questions). The four sections will be of 25 marks each.

- The question paper will be common for all the functional groups in which the recruitment is proposed to be made.
- There will be no interview for this post.
- Qualifying marks in written test/CBT are prescribed as 40% for UR, 30% for SC/OBC-NCL/EWS, and 25% for ST.
ICAR IARI Technician Syllabus

Document Verification
In case of a successful appointment in the IARI exam 2024, you have to bring original documents relating to age, qualifications, caste, and 'Character & Antecedent' verification followed by a Medical Fitness certificate issued by appropriate Medical Authorities.
Tie-Breaking Rule
In case two or more candidates have secured equal aggregate marks, the merit list shall be produced by applying the following rules Candidate obtaining higher marks in matriculation or equivalent.
- Candidates who are senior in age will be ranked higher.
- In the case where the ages mentioned are the same, the merit list would be prepared in alphabetical order of the first name of the candidates.
ICAR IARI Technician Marking Scheme
In the IARI Technician exam 2024, each question carries 1 mark and a penalty of 1/4th or 0.25 marks will be charged for every incorrect answer. A detailed table of the marking scheme in the IARI Technician exam has been provided in the table below.
