Based on the number of available vacancies, the Bank will determine cut-off scores for shortlisting candidates for the Personal Interview (PI) stage. Until the interview process is complete and the final Merit/Select List is compiled, candidates will not be informed of their Objective Test (OT) scores, including those who qualify for the IDBI interview. Understanding the IDBI Executive Exam Syllabus is crucial as it plays a central role in this selection process, which emphasizes a high level of performance across all sections.
Candidates who successfully pass the IDBI Executive Exam Syllabus requirements may be invited for an IDBI interview at the Bank's discretion. The maximum number of candidates to be called for the PI in each category will depend on the category-wise vacancies. During the PI, candidates have the option to respond in either Hindi or English. Those who meet the IDBI interview’s minimum qualifying standards proceed to the final shortlisting stage.
The IDBI Bank Executive Exam Syllabus covers essential areas required to excel in both the exam and the interview stages. The interview is scored out of 100 marks, with a minimum qualifying score of 50% for general candidates and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates. The final combined score for each candidate will be calculated by incorporating both the IDBI Executive Exam Syllabus results and IDBI interview performance. Valid documents specified in the recruitment advertisement are required during the interview, and failure to present these documents will lead to disqualification from the IDBI interview. IDBI Bank will not accept documents sent separately.
To be considered for selection, candidates must qualify in both the IDBI Executive Exam Syllabus and the IDBI interview, achieving a high position in the combined merit list. The final selection formula is as follows: Final Score = (3/4 of IDBI Executive Exam Syllabus Score) + (1/4 of IDBI interview Score). Candidates who meet the Bank’s Medical Fitness Standards, assessed by a Bank-appointed Medical Officer at the Corporate Center in Mumbai, and who satisfy all other eligibility criteria, including age and qualifications, will receive a final offer of employment.
