Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Educational Criteria
Before applying online for the Indian Coast Guard notification 2024 for various Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer posts, ensure you meet all the educational eligibility criteria. Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Age Criteria (As on July 01, 2023)
In order to be eligible for the ICG Assistant Commandant recruitment 2024, a certain age criterion has been provided in the Indian Coast Guard official notification. Please take a look at the table below where we have highlighted the age limit for all the posts.

Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Age Relaxation

Medical Standard for ICG Assistant Commandant Recruitment
Candidates who will be recommended for the FSB, i.e., the Final Selection Board, will be required to take a medical test. The specifications of the medical standards as outlined in the ICG Assistant Commandant notification 2024 have been provided for you below.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
- It is not permissible for candidates to apply to appear in the examination if they have been withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any other service training academy.
- There should be no criminal convictions, arrests, or prosecutions against candidates.
- Candidates from SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy)/EWS categories are eligible to apply as unreserved in the event there are no openings for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy)/EWS candidates. However, they will not be entitled to any concessions or relaxations based on their age and passing marks.
- Candidates who are enrolled in the final year/semester of their degree course and have yet to pass their final year degree examinations are also eligible to apply. The applicant should, however, not have any backlog and should have secured at least 60% in the last semester/year whose results have been declared as of the time of application submission.
- They will also need to file proof of passing the degree examination by May 30, 2024.
