IRDAI pays its employees a handsome amount besides providing a number of benefits and allowances. The IRDAI Manager salary in-hand lies in the range of Rs 35150-1750(9)- 50900-EB1750(2)-54400- 2000(4)-62400 (16 years). The IRDAI Manager gross emoluments (excluding perks/qualification allowance) is approximately Rs. 110132 / month. Apart from the IRDAI Manager salary, other allowances provided are

• Dearness Allowance
• House Rent Allowance
• City Compensatory Allowance
• Grade Allowance

Also the following qualification allowances, in addition to the above, will be applicable as mentioned in the table.

You will be on a probation period of 1 year, which can get extended to a maximum period of 2 years as per administrative need.

Career Growth

As a Manager in IRDAI, you have reasonable prospects for promotion to higher grades. Also once selected as an IRDAI Manager under your respective skill streams you will be placed in the Common Seniority list prepared grade-wise. The seniority will be decided according to the ranking obtained by you in the IRDAI Manager exam. You can be posted in any of the Offices of IRDAI and liable to be transferred as per the organization need.
