J&K Bank PO Exam Pattern 2024

    Exam Pattern 

    The J&K Bank PO notification was recently released for the post of Probationary Officers. The vacancies are less and the competition thus can be high. You need to be completely aware of each and every important piece of information. The J&K Bank PO exam will be held in three phases: Prelims, Mains & Interview. There will be sectional timings in both Prelims & Mains. The candidates will also have to score minimum qualifying marks in each section of Prelims & Mains. 

    Note: There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks in both Prelims & Mains. There will not be any penalty charged for an unattempted question. 

    Prelims Exam Pattern

    The J&K Bank PO Prelims 2024 will be an online objective type test including three sections - English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude respectively (not in any particular order). There is a time allotted for each section and you cannot switch to another section in between unless the time for that section is exhausted.     Mains Exam Pattern 

    Those who are able to clear the Prelims will appear in the Mains exam. The J&K Bank PO Mains exam will consist of mainly four sections and those are the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and General/Economy/ Banking Awareness respectively. There will be variable sectional timings in each section.  

    Note: A new section of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) has also been added this time to test the writing/typing skills of the candidates.

    Exam Language 

    There will be three phases in the J&K Bank PO recruitment. There will be online examinations in both Prelims and Mains. In the Prelims exam, there will be a test based on three sections where all the sections will be available in both English and Hindi, except the test of English Language. In J&K PO Mains, the online exam will be a test of four sections with objective-type questions which will also be available bilingually except in the test of English Language.

    Marking Scheme

    The J&K Bank PO exam will be conducted online and will consist of multiple-choice based questions in both Prelims & Mains. The J&K Bank PO Prelims will have three sections where the questions will carry 1 mark each. In the Mains exam, the marking for each question will vary according to the level of the questions. Each of the sections will have a different marking scheme.
