NABARD Development Assistant 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The NABARD Development Assistant notification 2024 has not yet been released, and the last NABARD Development Assistant notification was released  sometime back and aspirants who are eagerly preparing for the NABARD Development Assistant Exam 2024. However, the eligibility criteria for the NABARD DA have been quite the same for the past few years. As per the NABARD Development 2024 notification, the educational qualification and age eligibility is different for NABARD Development Assistant/Assistant Development (Hindi) so you must be very careful while filling the online application form to avoid cancellation of your candidature at the later stage.

NABARD Development Assistant Educational Criteria

Before you get into the application procedure of the NABARD DA, it is essential for you to know whether you are even eligible to take that exam or not. There are two types of eligibility criteria that you need to fulfill, i.e., Education and Age. Hence, in order to be completely eligible for this exam, you need to fulfill both of them. Below is the description of NABARD Development Assistant Educational Criteria. Go through it properly and then head to knowing the Age criteria which is mentioned in the next paragraph. 

You should be a Graduate or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university for NABARD Development Assistant. For NABARD Development Assistant (Hindi) you should have a Bachelor’s Degree in English/Hindi with Hindi and English as a compulsory or an elective subject or Bachelor Degree with either Hindi/English as the main subject with. Besides this, you must be able to translate from Hindi to English or vice versa. Also for whichever state you are applying, you should be well versed with the official language of the state i.e must be able to read, write and speak in that language.

Development Assistant Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ ST/PWBD EXS candidates) in the aggregate
Development Assistant (Hindi)
  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University in English/Hindi medium with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/ PWBD/EXS candidates) in the aggregate.
    OR
  • Bachelor's Degree with Hindi and English as main subject with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD/EXS candidates) in the aggregate.

NABARD Development Assistant Age Criteria

NABARD Development Assistant Age Relaxation Criteria

NABARD Development Assistant/Development Assistant (Hindi) exam 2024 also gives some relaxation to reserved category and you need to submit a certificate if you belong to any of these categories. The detailed information regarding the relaxation is given below.
