Nabard Grade B Exam Syllabus FAQs

There are three stages for the NABARD Grade B exam; the prelims, mains and interview. The prelims exam consists of Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Computer Knowledge, English Language, Decision Making, General Awareness, Agriculture & Rural Development, and Economic and Social Issues. The syllabus for the mains exam includes General English and Economic and Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development.
The NABARD Grade A and RBI Grade B syllabuses share a significant overlap, but there's a key difference. Both exams assess core competencies like Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, English Language, and General Awareness. They also delve into Economics & Social Issues, but with a specific twist. NABARD focuses on these issues within the context of rural India, reflecting its mission. The biggest difference lies in a subject swap. The RBI Grade B exam emphasizes Finance & Management, crucial for their central banking role. NABARD Grade A, on the other hand, tests your knowledge of Agriculture & Rural Development, aligning with its focus on rural development. So, while there's a substantial common ground, the specific focus areas set them apart.
The basic pay of a NABARD Grade B officer is Rs. 55,200. This is the is basic pay without any allowances or additional emoluments. After adding allowances like Dearness Allowance, Housing Allowance and others, the total monthly salary of a NABARD Grabe B officer comes out to be Rs. 1 lakh.
