NICL Assistant Notification 2024

NICL Assistant Notification PDF Vacancy 

NICL notification 2024 has a total of 500 vacancies released from different Indian states and union territories. These vacancies are distributed based on the state and are further divided across different categories, including reserved and unreserved categories.

The NICL notification 2024 mentions, however, if a state doesn't have specific SC/ST vacancies then such applicants can seek a direct vacancy in unreserved categories in case the vacancies are available too. As per the NICL Assistant notification PDF, PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) and EXS (Ex-Servicemen) candidates will also be allowed to apply against Unreserved, EWS, OBC, SC or ST vacancies in states, for which no specific vacancies are reserved for them. NICL Assistant Application Form 2024 

The NICL Assistant notification PDF declares that registration for the NICL Assistant exam will begin from October 24, 2024, and the last date to submit the application is November 11, 2024. Even the fee payment for registration must be done before 11th Nov 2024. 

Care should be exercised by the aspirants while filling the application to avoid errors. Tentative dates announced by NICL through the NICL notification 2024 for prelims are November 30, 2024 and mains is expected to be scheduled on December 28, 2024. Details regarding dates changes of exams will be available on the main website of NICL. 

Candidates have to be watchful with their application form to be submitted to NICL Assistant. A single or tiny misplaced key information or errors would destroy an application. Important Pre-Requisites before Applying for the NICL Assistant Exam

  • i. Scan their
  • Photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm) o Signature (on white paper with black ink)  
  • Left thumb Impression (on white paper with black or blue ink)  
  • A Hand Written Declaration (on white paper with black ink) (text given below).  
  • The text for the hand written declaration is as follows: - “I, ___________ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

The NICL notification 2024 also mentions that signatures in all capital letters will be unacceptable. Candidates would ensure that their signature is in the right format, as indicated in the guidelines. The scan for the left thumb impression has to be clearly readable and without any sign of smudging. In case a candidate lacks a left thumb, even then, a right thumb impression will be allowed. 

As per the NICL Assistant notification PDF, the declaration shall be a hand-written declaration by the candidate in his / her own handwriting, in English and not in capital letters. If the declaration is written by someone else or in any language other than English, then that application would be invalid. For Visually Impaired Candidates who cannot write the NICL notification 2024 says that the declaration may be printed, and they must affix their left-hand thumb impression below the printed text while uploading the document as per above specifications. 

A valid personal e-mail ID and mobile number are a must and should remain active till the completion of the recruitment process as mentioned in the NICL Assistant notification PDF. At least two email IDs, if available, should be provided, as in case one fails, the other would serve as an alternative and support the candidate in keeping track of his/her recruitment process. 

The NICL notification 2024 also points out that the company may send important communication related to pre-recruitment training details, call letters, regional language test details, etc., through the registered email ID and mobile number. The candidate must have a valid personal email ID and/or mobile number. Even if he/she doesn't already have one, he/she must create one in his/her name before applying and ascertain that it remains active during the recruitment process. 

How to Apply Online for NICL Assistant 2024 

The following list of instructions have been mentioned in the NICL notification 2024 for applying online for the NICL Assistant exam.  

  • Candidates have to go to the Company’s website https://nationalinsurance.nic.co.in/ and click on the option"APPLY ONLINE" under the “RECRUITMENT” section which will open a new screen.  
  • To register application, choose the tab"Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.  
  • In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he / she can save the data already entered by choosing"SAVE AND NEXT" tab. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the"SAVE AND NEXT" facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Visually Impaired candidates should fill the application form carefully and verify/ get the details verified to ensure that the same are correct prior to final submission.  
  • Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the “COMPLETE REGISTRATION BUTTON”.  
  • The Name of the candidate and his /her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application and should be the same as it appears in the Certificates/ Mark sheets as well as on the Identity Proof. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.  
  • Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the “VALIDATE YOUR DETAILS” and “SAVE & NEXT” button.  
  • Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature detailed under point"C".  
  • Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form.  
  • Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before “COMPLETE REGISTRATION”.  
  • Modify details, if required, and click on “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature has been uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.  
  • Click on “PAYMENT” Tab and proceed for payment.  
  • Click on “SUBMIT” button. 

NICL Assistant Application Fee 

Another significant part of the NICL Assistant application process is payment for the application fee. The NICL Assistant notification PDF clearly demarcates that no candidate's application would be considered complete in the absence of the successful payment of the required fees, and they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.  

It must be remembered that the fee payment has to be made online by using any valid credit/debit card or net banking as per the NICL notification 2024. All the payment details must be ready while filling in the application form. Further, it is a non-refundable amount once the applicant pays the fee to fill the form. So, the candidates must be doubly sure regarding all the information before making the payment.

NICL Assistant Admit Card  

Candidates are required to visit the official NICL website at https://nationalinsurance.nic.co.in/ to download their admit cards for the online test, which will be conducted separately for Phase I and Phase II, as well as for the Regional Language Test. In addition to the website, the applicant is also sent an intimation through email and SMS regarding the availability of admit cards.   • Original, photo identity proof as mentioned above while doing identity verification. 
  • Photocopy of the same Photo Identity Proof to be carried at the center. 

Carrying all required documents by the candidate would ensure that the latter completes their identity verification and is thus allowed to initiate the exam. 

NICL Assistant Pre-Exam Training 

According to the NICL Assistant notification PDF, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC (Non-creamy layer), and PwBD category candidates who wish to undergo pre-examination training may also apply and opt for it at the time of submitting their online NICL Assistant application form. Such candidates should look up the Recruitment Section of the NICL website at https://nationalinsurance.nic.co.in/ in due course for all information regarding the training scheme. 

 The students opting for online training will get information regarding the training dates and schedule through his/her registered Email ID or Mobile Number. The NICL notification 2024 clarifies that attending Pre-Examination Training does not guarantee any candidate employment in the company. This training is designed to help candidates maximize their preparation for the examination; it in no way influences the selection process and does not guarantee a job offer in any capacity.
