    According to the latest notification for the 2025 NPS Trust Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) exam, candidates applying for the General stream must possess a full-time Graduation or Post-Graduation in any discipline, or professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, CS, FRM (or equivalent), CMA, MBA, PGDBA, PGPM, or PGDM from an Indian University or Institute recognized by AICTE, UGC, or the Government.

    For the Risk Management stream, applicants are required to have a full-time Post Graduate Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, or professional qualifications like CA, CFA, FRM (or equivalent), CMA, MBA, PGDBA, PGPM, or PGDM from a recognized Indian university or institute. Additionally, a diploma in business analytics, data science, data analytics, or data statistics is preferred. Candidates should also have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in areas related to the pension or financial sector, with specialized knowledge or experience in Investment Management, Treasury Management, or Risk Management.     NPS Trust Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) Age Criteria (As on December 31, 2024)

    Apart from the educational qualification, there is a fixed age criteria needed to fulfil the eligibility criteria of the NPS Trust Officer Grade A exam. There is fixed age criteria based on the fixed date that you are required to fulfill as on the date which will be mentioned in the notification. Make sure your birth date matched with the birth date you have mentioned in your authentication documents like Aadhar card, Birth certificate or high school marksheet. In case your birth year mentioned in the application does not synchronizes with the birth date mentioned in your documents, will lead to the cancellation of your candidature.

    NPS Trust Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) Age Relaxation

    Once you are well inclined with the age required for the NPS Trust officer Grade A Exam, it is also important for you to know that there is a rule of giving age relaxation to some selected reserved categories. Yes you read that right. Age relaxations are provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories. Age relaxation means, some candidates can refrain from fulfilling the necessity of the upper age limit criteria. They can apply for this exam, based on the relaxation of some years given to them which will be mentioned in the official notification. This relaxation can be from 5 years to 2 years. In other words, candidates from the reserved category do not necessarily have to be 30 years of age, they can be of 32 or 35 based on the relaxations given in the notification.

    Again, please note that this information is on the recently released NPS Trust Grade A recruitment notification.
