NWDA Exam Pattern

    National Water Development Agency Exam Pattern –cy–

     NWDA 2023

    The National Water Development Agency announced vacancies for the posts of Junior Engineer, Draftsman Grade-3, Jr. Accounts Officer, Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Stenographer Grade-2 and Lower Division Clerk (LDC). Even though the exam dates will be notified later, the exam preparation should not be delayed at any cost. To help you with the preparation, we are sharing the NWDA exam pattern –cy– so that you may start your preparation well in time. 

    The NWDA exam –cy– will be conducted in the following manner-

    • Stage 1- Written Test
    • Stage 2- Document Verification and Computer Based Test along with a Skill Test for Stenographer Grade-2 and LDC

    NWDA Written Test

    The first stage of the NWDA selection process is an objective type Written Test. The Written Test will be held in offline mode, and you will be required to mark your answers on the OMR sheet. The NWDA Written Test will consist of 100 questions, and the duration of the test will be 90 minutes.

    NWDA Document Verification & Computer Based Test

    If you qualify the NWDA Written Test, you will be called for Document Verification. After successful completion of this step, the shortlisted candidates for all the posts will have to appear for a Computer Based Test, which will comprise of 100 questions. The duration of the test will be 90 minutes. 

    For the posts of Stenographer Grade-2 and Lower Division Clerk, the candidates will have to appear for a Skill Test (Shorthand/Typing). The Skill Test will be qualifying in nature. For Unreserved/OBC/EWS candidates, 7% mistakes will be allowed, and 10% for the SC/ST candidates.

    Please note that the final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the Second Stage Computer BaseD Test only.

    Marking Scheme

    The NWDA notification 2023 does not mention anything about negative marking for incorrect answers in the NWDA exam 2023.

    Exam Language

    Except for the language section, the NWDA exam will be bilingual in nature, i.e English or Hindi.

    Nwda Exam Pattern FAQs

    The NWDA Exam will be conducted in the following phases- Written Test and Document Verification and Computer Based Test along with a Skill Test for Stenographer Grade-2 and LDC
