Railway Protection Force Constable Eligibility Criteria 2024
To apply for the Railway Protection Force an aspirant should meet various eligibility Criteria with regard to Education Qualification, Age Nationality, Number of attempts permissible etc. Eligibility criteria plays a standard role in strengthening the candidature of any aspirant for an specific exam.
You must be aware of the fact that, Railway recruitment board have released RPF Constable notification on April 15, 2024. There are three types of eligibility criteria for the RPF Constable exam, Age, Education and Medical Fitness. Let us start with the Age criteria first. As you know that according tot he notification, the RPF Constable vacancies are distributed among various categories like UR, SC, ST, EWS and Ex Serviceman. The overall ratio of vacancies are distributed among Male, Female and Ex servicemen. Now let us start with the Age criteria first.
RPF Constable Exam Age Criteria

* To provide relief to many candidates who may have exceeded the age limit and missed the opportunity to participate in railway recruitment due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been decided to grant a one-time age relaxation of 3 years beyond the prescribed upper age limit for the post of Constable. |

Nationality
- A candidate must be a citizen of India
- A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.
RPF Constable Educational Qualification
To become an RPF Constable, you have to possess the basic educational qualification, which is 10th pass or equivalent from a recognized education board. You must have authentic document like your passing certificate or marksheet to authenticate this qualification during the document verification process, if shortlisted in the RPF Constable CBT and PET/PMT.
