    The SEBI has not yet released a notification for Grade A exam for the year 2025. This is because the current exam cycle has just concluded with the SEBI Grade A  Phase 2 exam.     SEBI Grade A IT Officer is one of the most preferred posts by numerous job aspirants of IT background.     SEBI Grade A IT Exam Pattern and Syllabus 

    Before doing anything, it is extremely important to know all the important details related to the exam such as the SEBI Grade A 2024 exam pattern and syllabus. The selection process for SEBI Grade A IT & all other streams as well, will consist of three main phases as mentioned below.

    Phase 1 Exam Pattern 

    SEBI Grade A Phase 1 for the IT recruitment process consists of an online examination that will be objective in nature. The online exam consists of two papers of 100 marks each, where Paper 1 will be common for all streams having multiple choice questions on various subjects, and Paper 2 will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on the specialized subject related to the Information Technology stream.

    There will be a negative marking of 1/4th of the marks allotted to each question. 

    The paper will be available in both English and Hindi except for the test of English in Paper 1.

    Phase 2 Exam Pattern 

    Candidates shortlisted from Phase 1 will move on to Phase 2 exam. SEBI Grade A Phase 2 for the IT stream will consist of two papers carrying 100 marks each. Paper 1 will be Descriptive English which will be common for all the streams. Paper 2 will be a Coding Test. The SEBI Grade A IT Officer Phase 2 exam pattern has been given in the table below.

    SEBI Grade A IT Officer Interview 

    All the candidates who will clear SEBI Grade A Phase 2 will be called for the last and final stage i.e Interview. You have the option to choose either Hindi or English as your language medium for the Interview. The weightage of marks obtained in the SEBI Officer Grade A Phase 2 exam and Interview is 85:15.
