Exam Pattern
SER Goods Guard selection process –cy– consists of two stages.
- Online Test/CBT
- Document Verification/Medical Examination
The level of the SER Goods Guard online exam will be that of the RRB exam level.
If you miss the Computer Based OnlineTest, no supplementary exam will be conducted. The South Eastern Railway Goods Guard exam pattern –cy– will have negative marking. Online Test
The first stage of the SER Goods Guard exam pattern is a computer based test. The online exam has multiple choice objective type questions. The questions will be from sections like General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning and Arithmetic. The overall time for the CBT will be 90 minutes for 100 questions. Document Verification
If you clear the computer based SER Goods Guard exam, you will be called for document verification and medical checkup. You need to bring all the necessary original documents as asked. After satisfactory document verification, you will undergo a medical checkup conducted by the Railway Administration. You will be appointed as a S.ER Goods Guard only if you pass this medical test.
Marking Scheme
Each question will be of 1 mark. There is a negative marking for every wrong answer that you attempt. ⅓ rd of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted as a penalty for every wrong answer that you marked.

Exam Language
