The SSC MTS notification for 2024 has been released. The notification includes important details regarding the upcoming SSC MTS exam like exam dates, eligibility criteria, and exam pattern and syllabus. As per the notification, an SSC Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff will hold a salary of Pay Level-1 as per Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission). The Pay band of SSC MTS is 5200 - 20200  and the Grade Pay is of 1800 rupees and as per the 7th pay commission, the in-hand salary of an SSC MTS employee will come around to Rs. 18000 to 22000. It will be a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post  in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc. 

The SSC Havaldar will also draw a Pay Level-1 salary as per the Pay Matrix of the 7th Pay Commission. It is also a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post  in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC)  and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN)  under the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.
