Depending on the number of vacancies in a specific category of posts, candidates will be selected for further scrutiny based on their scores and merit in the Computer Based Examination according to the following criteria:
- For categories with up to 5 vacancies, candidates will be shortlisted in a ratio of 1:30.
- For categories with more than 5 vacancies, candidates will be shortlisted in a ratio of 1:15, ensuring a minimum of 150 candidates.
- For vacancies reserved for PwBDs/PwBDs-Others/ESMs candidates, all qualifying candidates meeting the minimum cutoff criteria will be shortlisted for the scrutiny process.
You need to appear only once in the SSC exam for one level of the post; otherwise, your candidature will be cancelled. If you have applied for two levels of posts, e.g., Matriculation and Higher Secondary (10+2), you need to appear once for each level of examination. You need to score a minimum cut off of 30% if you belong to General Category and 25% if OBC/ EWS. For other categories, you need to score 20% as a minimum cutoff.

SSC Selection Post Document Verification
Candidates who have successfully qualified for Document Verification must attend as per the requirement of the User Department corresponding to the Post-category. Consequently, requests from candidates for venue changes during Document Verification will not be accommodated by the Commission/User Department(s). Admission Certificates for Document Verification will be issued by the relevant Regional Office in coordination with the corresponding User Department. During Document Verification, candidates must carry two recent passport-size color photographs and one original Photo ID Proof.
