    To be considered eligible for the Stenographer Recruitment 2024, you need to meet the SSC Stenographer eligibility criteria.     • Educational Qualification: Applicants should have successfully completed their class 10, 12 or equivalent qualification from a recognized educational institution. 
    • Typing Proficiency: Proficiency in typing is a quite an important skill for this role. Candidates must be able to type at a speed of 80 words per minute in English or 60 words per minute in Hindi. This proficiency should be certified by a recognized institution. 
    • Age Range: Candidates must also fall within 18 to 30 years to be eligible for recruitment. Please note, the cut-off date to satisfy the SSC Stenographer eligibility criteria changes as per the year and candidates need to check the notification carefully before applying.

    SSC Stenographer Nationality 

    Satisfying the SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria regarding nationality is important. Ensuring that candidates satisfy the nationality criteria is the first step in determining their eligibility for the SSC Stenographer Exam.     SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Educational Criteria  

    The SSC Stenographer exam requires a minimum educational qualification of having cleared 10th standard, Plus Two or an equivalent degree from a recognized Board or University. All degrees, including technical education diplomas, obtained through Open and Distance Learning mode from universities recognized for Central Government employment are accepted. However, it's extremely important to verify their approval by the Distance Education Bureau of the University Grants Commission.

    SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Age Limit Criteria  

    For the 2024 SSC Stenographer Grade C Exam, applicants need to fall within the age range of 18 to 30 years. To meet the eligibility criteria, candidates' must meet the age criteria according to the age limit set in the notification. Each year, the age limit deadline will be different  so aspirants need to confirm the same from the notifications. As for the SSC Stenographer Grade D Exam, candidates must be between 18 and 27 years of age.
