UBI SO Eligibility Criteria 2024
The Union Bank of India has put forth a golden opportunity for many job aspirants by announcing vacancies for the post of ‘Specialist Officers’ under various categories/disciplines. The application window for the UBI SO exam 2024 is open till February 23, 2024. It will be beneficial if all the candidates go through the complete UBI SO eligibility criteria before moving on with the application. There is a fixed criterion based on which the eligibility of the candidates will be determined. The eligibility cut-off date for the age criteria is set as the first day of the month in which the online registration begins, which is February 01, 2024. On the other hand, for educational qualifications, the cut-off date is the last day of online registration, i.e., February 23, 2024.
Educational Qualification
The candidates applying for any one of the announced posts by the bank need to possess the requisite educational qualifications, failing which the application will be rejected. There are various posts under the ‘Specialist Officer’ category, all of which require different qualifications depending on the discipline. The UBI SO educational qualifications required for all the posts are as follows:
Senior Manager (Risk) - MMGS-III
The Union Bank of India prescribes various qualifications for the post of Senior Manager (Risk). If a candidate possesses any one of these qualifications, he/she can apply for the post. Apart from these mandatory educational qualifications, the Union Bank of India has also mentioned certain desirable qualifications in its UBI SO notification 2024. Age Criteria

Age Relaxation
The Union Bank of India (UBI) will also provide a relaxation in the upper age limit to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) / Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) / Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers, including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs/Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) / Persons affected by 1984 riots. The relaxation will be provided on a cumulative basis.
