Interview Guidance for SEBI Grade A Rajbhasha
The interview is the final stage of the selection process for SEBI Grade A Rajbhasha Exam. The interview carries 15% weight in the final selection. Based on merit cut-off for Rajbhasha Phase 2 exam, usually, candidates equaling 3 times the number of vacancies are shortlisted and called for the Interview stage.
The SEBI Grade A Rajbhasha Interview Guidance Course at ixamBee is designed to help candidates present their abilities with clarity and confidence at the final stage of the recruitment process. Every interview is unique to the individual candidate. In essence, the interview seeks to understand who you are as a professional and decision-maker, not merely what you know. As such, an interview is primarily an assessment of personality, and only secondarily a test of knowledge.
Unlike written exams, where preparation can rely heavily on past year papers and predictable patterns, an interview does not follow a fixed script. Your preparation stage now expands to a syllabus that can be called “everything under the sun.” The discussion evolves dynamically based on your responses, your profile, and the direction taken by the interview panel.
The SEBI Rajbhasha interview course at ixamBee is designed as a thinking, articulation, and interview-performance program that will structure your preparation across technical and profile aspects.
The post of a Rajbhasha officer needs to be conversational with Hindi and promotes the utilization and imposition of Hindi language by SEBI as official. Interviewing panels monitor command over the language; ability to understand; proficiency for translation, knowledge concerning language policy in an officially correct sense because an officer needs to draft documents besides preparing the same in translating their ability for use inside and outside the SEBI boundaries with Hindi according to governmental policies on languages used officially.
In addition, the interview phase of the SEBI Grade A process tests a candidate's adaptability, ability to make decisions, and overall commitment to the responsibility of a Rajbhasha Officer. Scenario-based questions may be put up to test the approach adopted by the candidate towards problems, his or her strength in dealing with tough circumstances, and preparedness for representation on behalf of SEBI. This is the final step to ensure that the selected candidates are technically qualified but also have interpersonal skills, confidence, and vision to maintain SEBI's linguistic and administrative standards.
This SEBI Grade A Rajbhasha interview guidance will include
- Thinking-Oriented Preparation: Designed as a thinking, articulation, and interview-performance program rather than a conventional knowledge course
- Structured Interview Preparation: Clear roadmap to systematically prepare across technical understanding, profile-based questions, and regulatory perspective.
- Focus on Articulation & Clarity: Helps you structure answers with clarity, balance, and confidence
- Time-Bound Interview Drills: Daily structured exercises designed to simulate interview thinking, helping you develop spontaneous, well-reasoned responses. These drills focus on:
- Profile-Based Preparation: Your academic background, work experience, interests and strengths
- Conceptual & Regulatory Clarity: Key areas such as SEBI, financial markets, current developments, and regulatory trends. Activities and drills help you think from the lens of a regulator, not merely as a student
- Current Affairs Orientation: Focus on relevant economic, financial, and market-related developments important for the interview. Daily habit-building through financial newspaper reading and SEBI speeches to strengthen market awareness
- Mock Interviews & Feedback: One-on-one mock interview with an experienced panel, followed by detailed feedback to improve interview performance and confidence
How One on One Mock Interviews are conducted?
- One personalized mock interview will be conducted in an online mode.
- The mock interview will be on an individual basis with an experienced 2 member panel.
- Your mock interview will be a for a total of 40 minutes consisting of
- 25 minutes interview by panel members
- 10 minutes feedback from panel members
- 5 minute – query of candidate, if any
- Questions about both technical knowledge, behavior & personal aspects are asked in the interview
Please note that ixamBee will have the right to record the mock interview or part of it for promotional purposes

Below are a few feedbacks we have received from the students:
- Mahesh Khandare (Selected as SEBI Grade A General )
I have cleared Hello Team ixamBee,
I decided to prepare for government exams just before the lockdown and I had enrolled in ixamBee. This was the first time I had enrolled in any coaching and I fully utilised the SEBI Grade A Online course from March 2020 till my final Interview. Moreover, ixamBee's BeePedia was also very helpful for GA preparation which also helped in the Interview. I also referred to notes for General stream provided by ixamBee which were quite helpful for a quick revision. The free mock tests provided by ixamBee also played a great role in judging my performance especially for the Descriptive English paper. I had also taken SEBI mock Interview with them, which proved very beneficial in improving my confidence. So, I would like to sincerely thank the team of ixamBee for helping me realise my dream.
- Suman Meena (Selected as SEBI Grade A Legal )
Hello,
I found ixamBee's BeePedia very helpful for General Awareness preparation. I followed both the weekly as well as monthly BeePedia. For static GK, I used to watch ixamBee's youtube videos. Moreover, since I was not very comfortable with Quantitative Aptitude, I took the free mock tests provided by ixamBee to understand my level of preparation with respect to the subjects for Phase 1 and Phase 2.
For the Legal paper, I referred to ixamBee's notes to understand the weightage of the topics and how much time I should give to which subject. The notes were very concise and to the point and made last minute revision easy. A great advantage of the notes was that Securities law was explained with the help of flow charts and diagrams so it was easy to understand as it is a very technical subject.
For my Interview, I took ixamBee's SEBI mock Interview, which was very beneficial and helped me remain calm and confident on the day of the Interview. I would like to thank ixamBee team for providing consistent support in my SEBI Grade A journey.
- Aditi Agarwal (Selected as SEBI Grade A IT )
"I started my Phase 2 preparation only after I cleared Phase 1. Since there was not too much time before Phase 2, I contacted ixamBee as I did not have any experience of competitive exams. Moreover, there were not many IT transcripts from last year, so ixamBee really helped in this aspect. After clearing Phase 2, I also took the SEBI Mock Interview, which helped me in understanding my strengths and weaknesses and the areas I need to focus more on. Moreover, it boosted my confidence and taught me how to handle the Interview. After the mock interview, Jayanti ma'am gave me a detailed feedback. I would like to thank ixamBee for their constant support"..
- Santwana Panda (Selected in SEBI Grade A , AIR 2)
Thank you ixambee. I subscribed to the Full SEBI Course and made the best use of the free mock tests. Their study material is very concise, easy to revise, and up-to-date which helped me in solving many of the securities market questions. I am especially grateful for their personal guidance during the interview stage.
