ESIC and EPFO JTO Maximum Age : 30 Years

    Please Note:

    • The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has the authority to relax the qualifications for well-qualified candidates at its discretion. This means that if a candidate possesses exceptional qualifications or possesses additional relevant skills, the UPSC may consider granting relaxation in the educational requirements. The decision to relax the qualifications is based on the candidate's overall suitability for the position and their ability to perform the job responsibilities effectively.
    • In the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) or Scheduled Tribes (ST), the UPSC has the discretion to relax the experience qualifications. This relaxation is applicable if the UPSC determines that there is a lack of a sufficient number of experienced candidates from these communities who meet the required experience criteria. This provision ensures that SC/ST candidates are not unfairly disadvantaged due to a shortage of experienced candidates from their respective communities. The relaxation enables qualified SC/ST candidates to be considered for the position even if they may not meet the specific experience requirements mentioned in the job advertisement.
    • It is important to note that the decision to relax qualifications, whether educational or experiential, is made by the UPSC on a case-by-case basis.
