● Mastitis is an inflammatory disease which affects the mammary glands that can be caused by bacteria, virus and fungi. Strip cup method is used to detect mastitis. in this method strip cup is used before milking. The strip cup is used by stripping the first four or five streams from each teat to find cows which show milk containing clots, flakes or stringy masses.
