    of a new business in which he spends 40% in advertisement 30% of remaining in furniture 25% of remaining in gadgets and remaining Rs 22680 in miscellaneous. Find amount spend on gadget is what percent more or less than amount spend on advertisement.

    Solution

    Let the salary of man is Rs. 100x.
    => 100x × 60/100 × 70/100 × 75/100 = 22680
    => x = 720
    Total salary of man of that month = Rs 72000
    Amount spend of advertisement = 40% of 72000 = 28800
    Amount spend on gadgets = 72000 × 60/100 × 70/100 × 25/100 = Rs. 7560
    Required % = (28800 - 7560)/28800 ×100 = 73.75%
