    Solution

    Let her income be 100%. Remaining income = (100 - 15)% = 85% Let the money spent on travel and food be Rs. 5x and Rs. 4x respectively. Now, according to question, => 5x – 4x = 612 => x = 612 Total money spent on travel and food together = 9x = 5508 => 85% --- 5508 => 100% ----- 6480 Therefore her income is Rs. 6480.
