The programme was organized by observing the SOPs related to COVID- 19 guidelines. During the function, presentation on âfirst golden 1000 days of a childâ was given by Deputy Director, ICDS Jammu, Atul Kumar. A presentation on âAnemia Preventionâ was given by Dr. Rimpee Devi, (Medical Officer, ICDS Jammu).Solution
Mission Poshan 2.0 was launched by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in February 2021 to prevent any further backsliding of nutrition indicators. The announcement was made as the government decided to devote attention and resources towards integrating numerous nutrition schemes in the country. Mission Poshan 2.0 brings together the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS)âAnganwadi Services, Supplementary Nutrition Programme, Poshan Abhiyaan, Scheme for Adolescent Girls and National Crèche Scheme. The erstwhile Poshan Abhiyan (National Nutrition Mission) is still there with the existing targets. Mission Poshan 2.0 has been launched as an Umbrella Scheme.
